My husband ordered pizza last night, and I tried the Hawaiian. It was good, except I wished the ham was in chunks, rather than strips. I also had fried mushrooms, but the BBQ sauce was too spicy. I might mix that with some ketchup to tone it down. Don't want to throw the leftovers away. They gave us a lot. Ordered from LaVilla on the northside of Chicago.

Ketchup on pizza!!!!! I don't put ketchup on anything other than burgers soooo...

Eggplant pizza is amazing. Everybody at works thinks I'm crazy. Prosciutto on pizza or something else is like candy. So expensive but sooooooo good.

Hrmmm....is it nonsense like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? I only made it through the first couple of pages of that and had to put it down. I don't do well with no point. I can do strange, but nonsense, not so much.

I really liked The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. I read it either shortly before or shortly after we got A's diagnosis and there were a few things that really resonated with me about the main character. He talks about his food issues and explained a lot. But just the overall story...it was sad, but enlightening. I actually had no clue what it was about when I picked it up, but I'm glad I read it.
I haven't read Hitchhiker's yet, it's on my list. Alice is interesting in that you can see where some of the points from the movie came from. It's also not long; you can be done in a few hours. I personally find it funny. But the entire book is that she falls asleep, wanders into a dream where nothing makes sense, and wakes up. That's it. No moral, no character development, nothing.

Hubs, Kapono, and I decided to do some walking one one of the state trails near us today. It was a pleasant walk, we saw a few other people and dogs out but we all gave each other a wide berth. We walked just a little over 2 miles then got some small hot fudge sundaes at Dairy Queen. I let Kapono have some of the vanilla ice cream in my sundae.

They actually aren't completely closing. They're on a modified experience. So the restaurants, spa, Auntie's Beach House, and community Hall aren't available. You can get food by the pool, but you can't sit at the bar. The gift shops are only allowing a limited number of people in at one time. Hawaii isn't hit nearly as hard as other states; I think there's only 40 something cases so far.

Well that I can handle. I mean, it sounds weird, but there's a plot. The thing with Hitchhikers Guide is that it's like...almost an anti-plot. It has something to do with a machine or something that calculates the least possible thing to happen? I don't know...I just couldn't get into it. It's way too random. My husband LOVES it, but I just couldn't stay focused.

That can change superfast though! A week ago we were at 352 cases....now we're over 10 times that, in just a little over a week. And 2 days ago, there were no cases in our town. Yesterday there were suddenly 3, and today there are 5. It's going really quickly.

No. I should have explained myself better. The ketchup is not for the pizza. The ketchup is to mix with the BBQ sauce, that they sent with the fried mushrooms. They sent a lot. It was so spicy. The ketchup will mix well, and I will have BBQ sauce for something else. Perhaps the ribs I plan on cooking soon. Just enough kick, but not too much.

My husband sent me out today to the store for some deli items. I shopped at a store called Tony's. They were stocked well on everything but Toilet Paper. Not sure if they had hand sanitizer, or not, since I do not use that in my house. As long as I was at the store, I picked up some stuff that was on sale. The store was super crowded. Nobody seemed to be worried about anybody else being sick. It was nice to go and get some needed exercise.
