That's wonderful!

A garden center in my area donates live Christmas trees overseas every year, to some of the troops. :)
We became involved when he joined th Cub Scouts. We quit Scouts mid year last year, but we decided to still continue the annual Wreath involvement. I think it’s a neat organization.

Wow, this is great to hear. So cool! I’m sure the troops appreciate it!

We were sent a little two foot ish tree when I was in Baghdad. They sent some mini lights and ornaments too. It was fun!

This is hysterical. :joyfull:

I never tried anything like that on Jack; but on my previous dog, I made her a blanket jacket (very simple cut-out pattern with velcro sewn on. She despised it! :p Also, bought her some booties so her paws wouldn't get hurt from the salt on the roads. She hated those, too! :p

Hence, when Jack came along, I decided that dogs just don't like anything on them! ;)
My grand-doggie wears sweaters and tees all the time. His favorite thing are bandannas. He represents a couple of dog bandannas companies as their model. 😊

I hate all the drug company commercials. I find them unnecessary. Popping pills has become a cure-all for everything it seems. It is more of a cure-all for their stock number, but I digress. It is especially difficult when a movie for a family is on and then their is a commercial for a pill that discusses what happens in a bedroom. I really don't need my wide eyed 9 year old watching that. Really happy for the Disney plus in that regard.

I hate those commercials for a different reason. The MONEY they soak into slick advertising, just drives up the cost even higher for prescription drugs, for everyone.

I now buy our grocery chain's organic ketchup. It tastes better than Heinz in my opinion, and is cheaper.

I buy ketchup that doesn't include anything stupid like high fructose corn syrup. In my area, that usually means it costs more (the major brands often put out an organic one that I'll buy).

Speaking of HFCS, I was at the store today to buy some eggnog. A major (local) brand that I've been buying each year, now has put HFCS into theirs! :banghead: There were 2 other brands on the shelf -- same thing! I finally found one unfamiliar brand (and it cost more), but it had sugar for sweetener. So I bought that one. Sigh. 🙁

Guess it is cheaper than sugar? Haven’t those companies noticed that people are trying to steer away from HFCS?
