Steve, right with you man! I am not sure but I am a really early member too in fact I posted one of the earliest reviews of wikiwa springs north of Orlando(very cool place literally).

Meant to respond, but, got distracted...got the “like” in though...!!!
That makes much more sense.
Sounds like that battery was well into its death throes, instead of “conveniently” dying just as the recall visit was planned.
How old was the battery when it died...?
Most aftermarket places prorate the difference from the warranty to it dying.
I’ve had 5-year warranty batteries die at 3 years, thus they took took 2/5ths off the price of the replacement.
Hasn’t happened in a while, as the batteries seem a bit more stable now.
Vehicle issues are always sooooo much fun...!!!!!!!

One of our dogs looks like that especially if he is overdue for a haircut. He has a bed that he can snuggle in. It is sherpa lined and he blends right in because it is the same color as his fur.

I replaced my battery on my car this past April. My car is a 2008, it was the original battery. The guys at the shop were dumbfounded that it had lasted so long.

Went to the corner store for a TSSFFBR, and when I got back the newish neighbor lady across and a bit down the street came over to chat with me in our driveway. Nice enough lady, but, it lasted over an hour before I could finally, politely, break away when another neighbor who was walkin’ her dog showed up...!!!!!

My youngest turning 9 in November blows my mind. Seeing the very independent person she has turned into boggles my mind. I am so lucky I get to spend so much time with my kids because they just grow up so fast.

Yep, so fast indeed.
And now, Emy will be 1 year old in less than 3 weeks...!!!!!!!

I know the mall in question. It has been over a decade, but I did go to Woodfield mall in the past. I am surprised this happened, but thankfully the person was arrested.

The girls just landed in Salt Lake City for a short layover.
They said Emy did awesome on her first plane ride, and the flight attendants just loved her...!!!!!
