Chrysler...enough saidBased on our experience with one in Orlando a few years back, we won't ever touch a plug-in hybrid. The battery charge ran out within 50-60 miles of charging (A 3/4 charge took 2 hours). Maybe because it was a Chrysler and a minivan? Either way, that experience stained plug-in's for us. We'll stick with our CRV hybrid.
You miss option 4: WDI spends $12.4 million on a new system that projects an opening door on theatrical fog. The effect breaks after 2 weeks and is never repaired.I'm going to set the odds:
Fix them 10:1
Remove them 2:1
Leave them in place non functional 1:7
I guess we can't take "eliminate the outside loop" out of the equation either. You miss option 4: WDI spends $12.4 million on a new system that projects an opening door on theatrical fog. The effect breaks after 2 weeks and is never repaired.
Dare I ask how long they’ve been broken ?
What if we simulate an outside loop with SCREENS and never have you actually leave. No more weather closures! We can move the Imagination Sound Lab fans over so you feel like you’re moving 65 mph.I guess we can't take "eliminate the outside loop" out of the equation either.

But the difference is all of the movies that weren’t profitable last year are just clear misses. Encanto, Tron, And PatF will all have rides for three different reasons… none of which will ever apply to the movies released in 2023.Net profit at the Box Office is not the only measure that Disney uses (and it shouldn't be the only measure of a movie).
Disney has had movies take in hundreds of millions of dollars at the BO, but failed to make a profit because of how expensive was that movie's budget. So, while losing money in the theatrical window, the movie could still be popular and well received. And then more so once it hits streaming.
Disney has the stats as to how a movie is doing on streaming, so, it know its popularity. E.g., Encanto "bombed" at the Box Office, but then become a cultural phenomenon, and is going to have its parks-presence vastly increased.
Going by BO profit, there wouldn't be rides for TRON, or PatF, or Tangled shows on cruises.
Yes, there are some movies that failed both at BO profitability and in popularity. But BO profitability has never been the sole measure of an IP's park-worthiness.
I'm kinda surprised that a Test Track 'refresh' isn't using movie IP (ie., Cars).
Clear to you.But the difference is all of the movies that weren’t profitable last year are just clear misses.
How many reimaginings have resulted in a better ride? I don't know if I can think of one. The 1.0 to 2.0 version of TT was a downgrade except for getting rid of the migraine inducing queue.I fully expect screens and an overall downgraded experience. Less on Fun Factor, Less on Speed, Less on pretty much everything. God can we get Michael Eisner back

They work every few months and break again. They were working as of Sept 2023Since at least 2021.
I disagree. The version now is much more enjoable than 1.0.How many reimaginings have resulted in a better ride? I don't know if I can think of one. The 1.0 to 2.0 version of TT was a downgrade except for getting rid of the migraine inducing queue.
At DL, plenty. Buena Vista Street at DCA is a thousand times better than Sunshine Plaza. Snow White’s Scary Adventures was better than the much scarier Snow White’s Adventures (Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, I’m not so sure about). Dumbo 2.0 was twice as good as Dumbo 1.0. Adventureland Treehouse is a big upgrade from Tarzan. How many reimaginings have resulted in a better ride? I don't know if I can think of one. Star tours 2.0 in Disney world is definitely an improvement. Even though I was always a big Rex fan. After that, I'm struggling to think of anything that was even equal, let alone better in the Florida parks. In my opinion, Star Tours has consistently gotten better with the addition of each new “destination.”

That's fair. I personally liked the story but to each their own. I liked the collapsing bridge, the little chase... It added a little something extra to it, I never really found it distracting.I think the current version of Kiliminjaro Safaris is better than the original, even though I wasn't happy about the change until I actually experienced it without the story.
The anti-poaching story was an admirable attempt but in retrospect it actually detracted from the overall experience. The live animals functioned like set dressing and you didn't get to really take them in the way you do now.
