Sorry for being unresponsive. Had some chores to do since the lockdown's been easing up!

I don't see how the more mystical theme with the fairies fits into Epcot though? But if we focus on them as more personifications of natural phenomenon than as fairies, I could see it. I think the DAK location or Downtown work better. BUT Epcot has been trying to add more fairy tale type stuff in recent years, so it isn't too out of theme.
That's actually my concern as well since at first glance, it seems that the bar fits better in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom than the Land Pavilion in EPCOT (especially given its realistic and in-the-moment setting with the Living with the Land and Soarin' attractions).
I'm not opposed to using fantasy elements in the bar, but it's kind of out of place within the context of the pavilion as a whole. I think if we go with Pi's suggestion highlighted in green and create characters based on both fantasy and reality like the characters from the Tapestry of Nations parade (bonus points if we throw in references to that), that would greatly reduce the "'Oh my god what have they done to the Land Pavilion?!?,' screams Laramie Jackson from Appleton, Wisconsin on DisTwitter" factor.

Timeless Forest is a great name.

If we do use the Land Pavilion, the theater feels like our best bet. It is pretty underutilized space in my opinion. Plus, multiple level could give us a good chance for an elevator lol.

I think the circular set up I suggested for the Fairy Ring restaurant could work here.

Full 360 wrap around bar. Four themed section. The closer to the center bar, the more similar the sections to make transitions smooth, the further from the centers the more unique and heavily themed the sections are.
I totally missed this post somehow. I agree that it wouldn’t fit in EPCOT as much anymore. Yeah was going off of the four seasons side, not the mythical side.

I definitely think Magic Kingdom could work as part of Fantasyland. If the restrooms where Pinocchio’s village is are removed (can even remove PV), there is a nice way to extend the small forest from Enchanted Takes with Belle into this one

Could we make the Kitchen underground? I love this design a ton but I was thinking it could also be really cool to have a large tree in the centre a la the Tree of Life or Hometree in Avatar. This tree has a snapshot of all Four Seasons at once and could be used for smaller interactive bits with tree puppets and the bartenders (like Oga's fixing the generator). Could add a sense of a smaller show when there isn't anything on stage

I know I'm kinda contradicting my last post, but personally, Fantasyland would be the last place I would think to put a bar or nightclub. If @gam3rprincess is fine with it, we can still focus on placing a Four Seasons-themed bar in the Land Pavilion, but instead of personifying the seasons as fairies, we can just personify them as something else @Pi on my Cake suggested. Maybe personify them as Gods/Goddesses from real-life myths and legends? That way, the bar's origin story is still rooted in reality but still has a fantastical element to them. We can even have a "summoning ritual" show where a first-timer bumbles their way through the ritual in summoning the gods for their "once every 500 years" appearance to the mortals.

I was actually thinking of the same thing! Given that multi-level shows are our team's thing, it wouldn't be remiss of us to not pull that card again. That being said, I'm not sure an elevator would be the right approach given the nature setting of the bar. Would ramps do?

I am definitely open to any ideas about location. It can work in the land and we focus it towards Gaia? Is Greek Mythology still interesting to people?

I feel a roped off rope area so bartenders don't back into it could work. One on both sides could lead to it being designed as the tree roots going deep underground

Given the level of interest in the planned Percy Jackson series for Disney+, I'd say it is (though we're not allowed to tie in the bar to IP, but technically speaking, we're not...).

How about something like this? Obviously our ramps will not be as large and modern-looking as this one, but something that spirals through the different levels of the bar.

This is a great idea! I was thinking that the ramps would only need to be used by Kitchen staff to get downstairs but re-reading your message you think it should be public with a show down there too?

If we can squeeze in one, sure why not? I was actually thinking of making the space a bit flexible so we have a variety of performances down below (like the Manderley Bar at the McKittrick Hotel aka home of the Sleep No More experience)?

I like it! We could move the spiral staircase to be on the outside of the bar and have only two sides truly open or we can move the staircase to be in the outer ring?

Going off Pi’s diagram, I imagine that it would be nice to place the spiral ramps on the outer ring of the bar. That way it can double as additional performance space and also provide public access to the other levels.

Personally, I vote not Epcot so we can keep the more mystical fairy themes. PLUS, the more upbeat party atmosphere of an Adventurer's Club type establishment feels like it wouldn't fit in the more grounded and serious Land Pavilion. BUT if we do go with Epcot, having the personifications of the seasons be more scientific and less magical could work. Maybe have displays of plant life from each season (probably fake plants). A year round all seasons garden bar.

If we aren't in Epcot, I like the Rainforest Cafe at DAK or Downtown Disney. Lean into some magic and fun and make it a big fairy festival.

Could we make the Kitchen underground? I love this design a ton but I was thinking it could also be really cool to have a large tree in the centre a la the Tree of Life or Hometree in Avatar. Kitchen couldn't be underground in FL, but it could definitely have the land built up around it and the circular ramps around the outside to make it look underground. I LOVE the big center tree set piece. It is fantastic! A large tree with some vaguely mystical qualities and some interactive bits surrounded by a 360 degree bar sounds like a really stunning and unique visual!

Going off Pi’s diagram, I imagine that it would be nice to place the spiral ramps on the outer ring of the bar. That way it can double as additional performance space and also provide public access to the other levels.

A layout sort of like Disneyland's Carousel/Innovention building, right? Big circular building with a slanted ramp (or two) around the outside. I like it!

So what if we do Downtown Disney. The “main floor” you come in underground. There is a small bar and just little things. The large spiral staircase roots take you up to the second floor where all Four Seasons are

Oooooooohhh the Roots area could be all ages with more snacks and less drinks and more PG, then the main section with the upstairs 4 seasons area could be 21+ and a more PG-13 humor

Okay, so I think we have a solid foundation to work off of here. For a one-sentence recap:

A two-level bar located in Disney Springs where the lower level is the underground earth designed for all ages while walking up the roots of the trees takes guests to the 21+ four seasons area that is kept maintained by a grand fairy.

Things that need to be done:

Backstory: I will now finalize this based on our new agreed-upon idea

Characters:
- The grand fairies have names but not much beyond that
Oberon and Titania from Midsommer's Night's Dream could be the head fairies. With fully original characters for the four seasons. Maybe 2 or 3 with a separate show for each one
- Names and stories for the four season fairies

- Music
@Pi on my Cake suggested we try to make an original song for this. I think it would be a lot of work with three of us but if we have the time and motivation, it could come out really cool!

- Descriptions
Describing the underground area, the main circle bar/ tree, the four seasons. The more detail, the better

- Performances
Both on the main stage as well as off of the tree/ underground area we need to come up with performance ideas and descriptions. I have nothing off of the top of my head for this one.

Hi team, just a heads up: I don't think I can be online from Thursday afternoon until Friday evening (your time) to help out. I have a family thing that I have to go to that I can't get out of 🙄. Just let me know what I can do before then.
No worries! Of that list I made, is there anything that stands out to you to do? We just have to start writing at this point
