What do you need from me in order to get the ball rolling on this? I have a couple of other things I have to do tonight. in the morning so I want to prioritize accordingly. Do you need full descriptions and stories? What they look like for their season?
Just whatever bits of personality you have. Like, "this one is young and carefree" or "this one is grumpy guy" A sentence or two like that so I can build the shows and special things around the characters.

Anoxi: Young and free-spirited. Always wants to play games with anyone and everyone.

Kalokari: The wise one. She’s been around the block a few times and knows what is happening all around the place. Don’t get on her bad side.

Thosi: More sheltered and to herself. She rarely says a word at first but can quickly warm up to do anything.

Hemonas: Older fairy that is done with the other’s s***. He has been around too long for these silly games (but sometimes he can be convinced to play along)

Throughout my night at the Timeless Forest there were a lot of great mini-shows and entertainment. The four main characters were each spending time interacting with people in their respective seasons.

Anoxi had a variety of simple games and bets she'd challenge people in the Springtime section of the bar to. From variations on classic bar games (like "Acorns" which plays a lot like quarters trying to bounce a small acorn into a cup with the loser having to drink) to sharing riddles she's picked up from visitors before. She has such a playful personality and will join guests in just about any challenge, game, or bet they come up with. Of course, being an actor cast member, she can't actually have alcohol if she loses the drinking games, but she carries a crystal flask of "A very special Fae Elixir" that she sips from instead. I'm pretty sure it is just a fancy looking plastic bottle full of water, but it was a good in-character way for her to play along. Watching her play these games with guests gave this section a lot of energy. Probably drove up sales too, I bought a new drink just to play Acorns lol.

oslcO28.png

Kalokari is more of a story teller for the Summertime section of the bar. She is supposed to be one of the older fairies and will often bring up anecdotes (often partially improvised I suspect) prompted by things different people are doing or wearing (I saw he say that someone's shoes reminded her of this time a troll fell asleep on her jogging route so she she had to climb over the sleeping, stone giant to complete her workout). Her stories almost always seemed to end in some kind of bar fight or with her knocking someone out who disrespected her. If not about a fight, then it is usually was gossip about the other fairies. Hemonas denies it, but he borrowed Kalokari's oakwood garden shovel and is determined to make sure everyone never lets him forget it. While I was there, she brought a parchment around and asked everyone to sign it saying it was a petition to get Hemonas to admit he is a big baby who steals shovels.

Thosi was a lot quieter and more reserved than the others. She had a couple of nooks where she would sit in the Autumn section of the bar. I saw her spend most of her time with a sketchbook and a collection of colored pencils (oil pastels, charcoals, crayons? I didn't get a good look, just saw she had a pouch seemingly made of leaves where she pulled stuff out to color things in). She would sketch little things from guests and then give them the sketch! Usually like a hat or a cup. Small things. Though if someone comes up to talk to her, she always seemed very pleasant and friendly and would never try to rush them away to get back to sketching. I had bought an apple at the bar as a snack, Thosi walked over and handed me a folded up piece of paper and said it was a premonition of a possible future, but that I couldn't open it until I was done the apple or else it wouldn't come true.

vintage-1181589_1280.jpg

To her credit, she successfully predicted I would be left with an apple core lol. I suspect she has some sketches pre-made and ready to go for times like this.

Hemonas is the last of the regular fairies. He hangs out in the winter section of the bar. I noticed his outfit revealing more and more of his abs as the night got later and the crowd became more and more adult. After around 11ish he wasn't even wearing a shirt anymore. Seems like some decent eye candy if you're into that kind of thing. He is more of a brooding loner wandering around the bar. He helps the wintertime section feel more relaxed and "chill" than the others (pun fully intended). He would play some games with people and share some stories, but mostly low key stuff. He played a game of "Four Pebbles" (basically Connect Four with some aesthetic twists) with me and told a story of a lovely ice carving he gifted a family in Canada about 237 years ago. He is clearly meant to be a bit snooty and would sometimes work passive aggressive jabs at the other fairies, but he was still mostly chill and it was still an enjoyable time.

At the center of the bar in the Tree of the Times, Oberon and Titania could be found entertaining guests at the 360 bar. They were actually puppet performers though, with the puppeteers clearly hidden inside the tree itself. But that added a really unique element to it. Oberon was a loud and boisterous personality joking celebrating with everyone. Titania was very witty and had a lot of jokes she would tell jokes and quick, snappy one liners to say to them. Between the two Fairy Royals popping out of different parts of the tree, the bartenders making drinks all around the 360 bars, the crowd around the tree, and the other special effects they have as a part of the Tree of the Times, the center of the bar had such great energy!

003890_1.jpg

Every 45 minutes or so (It was less than an hour, but more than a half hour. I think things might be scheduled in a staggered way to make it seem more improvised than it is), there would be some king of big event for the whole bar. There was a sing-a-long to some simple drinking songs hosted by Anoxi and Kalokari (Kalokari was reluctant to do it, but Anoxi wouldn't take no for an answer). Oberon and Titania hosted a dance competition as a part of the Festival where guests could compete for the extravagant prize of 7 acorns and a pebble (I don't quite know what started it, but acorns and pebbles being super valuable is a common running joke and tradition here. Cast members and actors all have a pouch full of them and will gladly trade their pebbles and acorns for any guests bring or win throughout the night).

90

Kalokari and Hemonas had a competition where they kept trying to one up each others stories and asked the bar to vote on who wins (Hemonas defeating three dwarves in a Pomegranate eating competition while also defeating an elf in dance competition simultaneously was voted more impressive than Kalokari's story of beating a troll in an arm wrestling match, but it was close). Thosi might seem more reserved, but she opens up a lot with different forms of art, including leading the whole bar and the other fairies in a line dance.

I heard there was a big show at the start of the night before I got there (around 7 I think?) introducing everyone and the story of the Timeless Forest hosted by Oberon. I didn't stay until close, but I hear Titania hosts a closing ceremony where one of the four fairies gets named an honorary Monarch of the Seasons as a reward for bringing the most merriment to the guests of the fairies. I'm gonna have to plan on coming back and staying open to close to see all the shows because I'm sure there are some more I missed besides just the opening and closing ceremony. My liver and my budget are both just gonna have to suck it up lol.

I admit trying to come up with interiors took longer than I thought it would. I doubt that this is my best work so far, so I apologize for the shoddy quality.

Feel free to change some things when needed.

Entering from the Marketplace, visitors to the Timeless Forest will enter the club through a circular tunnel formed by tree roots. The roots will light up periodically (by means of an embedded LED strip light) to show the visitors the way to the center of the club: the Tree of the Times. Beneath this mighty tree, the resident fairies of the forest warmly welcome visitors to their kingdom. From this point, visitors can choose which realm of the Timeless Forest they can explore for the night.

The Timeless Forest is divided into four realms, one for each season: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Each realm will have its own unique and signature guest experiences that are perfect for the entire family.

The Aviva Grove
A dirt path leads visitors to the Aviva Grove, home to Anoxi, the Spring Fairy. Located southwest of the Tree of the Times, the grove celebrates the magical wonders of springtime in the woods. Verdant trees and blooming flowers (lavender, in particular) stand tall as they bask in the warmth of spring. As such, natural and floral scents periodically waft through the air, giving visitors a sense of calm and serenity.

A Wonderland of sorts, Aviva Grove has been designed with whimsy in mind. Oversized items like spools of thread, buttons, mushrooms, teacups, etc. are used as dining furniture, all placed underneath a leafy canopy. A set of rocky plinths on the ground serve as the mainstage of the grove, where Anoxi can make her appearance to perform feats of magic for the visitors, as well as showcase the beauty of springtime. An oversized overturned teapot with a lid serves as the bar and kitchen for this section of the Timeless Forest.

jonathan-dufresne-whimsical-forest.jpg

The Therosian Fields
Entering through a copse of flourishing trees, guests find themselves entering a field of yellow and green. This is the Therosian Fields, home to Kalokari, the Summer Fairy. Located southeast of the Tree of the Times, the aptly-named realm is mostly comprised of wild and grassy plains and knolls, perfect for any summer outing. In particular, canola plants fills almost every space in this area, with some leafy trees dotting the landscape. Every now and then, a gentle breeze blows through the field, making the canola plants bow gracefully to the Summer Fairy.

Outdoor rustic-looking picnic areas are placed on a circular flat section of the plain. Shows for this realm are done upon a circular wooden stage in the middle of this section, providing a 360° stage experience for visitors.

The Sienna Hills
The Sienna Hills is home to Thosi, the Fall Fairy. This realm, located northeast of the Tree of the Times, is on a grassy knoll filled with trees sporting their autumnal colors. Fallen leaves of red and yellow fill the entire area, providing some festive autumn delight for the young and young at heart. A breeze will sometimes blow through the autumn woods, lifting the fallen leaves up in the air and down again.

Upon following the leaf-strewn path up the crest of the hill, visitors can find a circular stone dais where the bar is located. Thosi herself can even be seen above the bar with her books and artworks, observing the visitors to her realm and sketching the day away. She may sometimes leave the dais to mingle among the visitors and sometimes chat them up, but most of the time, she prefers the peace and quiet of Sienna Hill's inner upper sanctum.

80242b3a0829e01af6668a866e963580.jpg

The Demetrian Cabin
Snow-capped trees and a snug-looking cabin in the woods mark the realm of Hemonas, the Winter Fairy. Located northwest of the Tree of the Times, the Demetrian Cabin is one of the two *actually* indoor locations in the Timeless Forest. While the cold never bothered some, the majority of people are, hence the indoor location. Upon entering the realm, visitors can admire a beautiful winter scene, complete with supercold air blown on visitors' faces, fake snow, and laser-made recreations of the Aurora Borealis lights.

Entering the titular cabin, visitors will find themselves in a warm and cozy environment, in contrast to the "chillier" outdoors. A "crackling fire" welcomes them as they move through the cabin. Hemonas can often be seen near the fire, often curled up on his favorite armchair. As with most cabins, the interiors are rustic in design ("rough-hewn" chairs and tables, etc.). Completing the picture, several wintry-themed paintings are hung on the walls of the cabin, ranging from the medieval to the modern.

I forgot one last thing:

The Crown Bar
Located at the top of the Tree of the Times (the highest point of the Timeless Forest), the Crown Bar provides visitors a one-of-a-kind bar experience like no other, with fun singalongs, intense dance competitions, and a stunning 360° view of Disney Springs. As they sit underneath floating fairy orbs, visitors are regaled with stories and ongoing shenanigans of the six fairies living within the Timeless Forest. Be careful though, as some audience participation might be required to be able to go on through the night!

I managed to make a "news article" for the Disney Springs Daily about the new bar. I know @AceAstro is doing the backstory, but I can't seem to move forward with the interior design until I know what it looks like on the outside. Let me know what you guys think (especially you, Ace):
Mysterious forest appears in Disney Springs
Rumors of a newly-discovered area near the Marketplace have the locals of Disney Springs a-buzzing. Early reports suggest that the old archaeological dig site seemingly disappeared and in its place, a previously unplotted forest appeared overnight. An investigation from the Disney Springs police department is currently ongoing, but the locals have speculated the best and the worst of what's inside this forest.

From the Marketplace, the new forest has presented interesting properties that suggest mystical elements are at play here. It was observed by locals that trees with leaves of varying colors (or even lack thereof) dotted the landscape, "as if all four seasons converged on this specific place," says Alma Jackson, a resident of The Landing area. Derek Mathieson, a representative from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), says that it is "impossible" for any forest to exhibit such behaviors, especially in Florida. Keen-eyed observers have also noticed new waterways emerging from this forest and into the current springs area. Current maps provided by the Disney Springs Historical Society and the DEP only show the current springs area as seen today. The oldest map of the land, which dates from the late 1800s, also only shows the current springs area as well. Perhaps the most peculiar aspect of this forest is the "Mother Tree", a massive and towering tree that rises above the forest. No other tree within Disney Springs has reached this height, according to the local biology unit at Disney Springs.

As such, locals are highly convinced that something otherworldy is afoot within this new forest. Some even go on and say that mystical beings roam the area as its keepers and protectors, while others say a terrible creature guards the forest against intruders and trespassers. Until the investigation has been completed, no one can say for sure what lies beyond the treeline of the new forest.

Just some notes:
  • The overall land layout of the nightclub is similar to @Pi on my Cake's original design, but I've decided to expand on it as such:
    • At Ground Level
      • Each quadrant/season will instead be placed outdoors with cleverly-disguised canopies to shelter guests. Under such canopies, seating and staging areas will be placed.
      • Smaller kitchens will also be placed in each quadrant as well to handle food orders at the ground level.
      • Since we're also catering to the young'uns, maybe we should have forest/fairy-themed play areas per quadrant as well?
      • At the center of the land is the Mother Tree (similar to the Tree of Life at DAK). In the roots of the Mother Tree is a staging area, where Oberon, Titania, and the Fairies of All The Seasons (temporary name, obvs) welcome guests at the start of the night
        • Disguised ramps (with fencing) will run around the trunk of the tree to allow adult guests (21+) to reach the Canopy Bar, where the *actual* fun begins. Don't worry, there's also a cleverly-disguised OTIS elevator near the staging area that runs along the trunk of the tree for those who can't walk up/down the ramps.
    • At the Second Level (Mid-Trunk)
      • Backstage areas for the cast: breakrooms, dressing rooms, etc.
      • Main kitchen and food and drinks storage areas
    • At the Third Level (Tree Canopy)
      • The actual 21+ only bar and the only fully-enclosed area within the club. I'm thinking of implement projection mapping here (a la Space 220) to enforce the idea that the guests are still "outside" and "seating on the massive tree branches" but not really for safety reasons.
I turned this into a Disney Parks Blog post

I have added everything we have into that google doc! Just waiting for the drinks from @gam3rprincess and then I think we are set.

Is anything missing in y'all's opinion?
It looks great! Mind if I change the font color to a very dark red that will contrast with the green? Or do you think we should just stick with black? Other than that it seems fantastic!
