- Dearest Imagineers. I’m dropping out of the comp. I can‘t really explain why besides the fact that it just doesn’t appeal to me anymore, best of luck to everyone - Yours Truly @Pufflefan. @TheOriginalTiki @mickeyfan5534 @Tux @NateD1226

Really sorry to hear it doesn't appeal to you. Is there anything in particular I'm doing wrong that caused you to make this decision, or is it just a busy schedule?

Please vote ASAP!

Anyways, voted for Four Seasons. I have a little trouble picturing exactly how that will turn out. But the more I think about the Dinoland one, the more I realize how similar it sounds to Restaurantasaurus. Plus, Four Seasons sounds like a riskier idea. I like risky. Both are great though!

Okay. I’ll look into how we can expand the Land pavilion (but I have some ideas)

I think the first thing we need to establish is the backstory. What is the story of this bar? Once we establish that as a team, we can go the various routes of room design, characters, etc.

So a little more detail on my project idea: There would be characters that relate to each season, either elves or fairies, with the story of these fantasy characters being the one who changes the seasons. I feel like this bar is a loose enough theme to be put kind of anywhere which is why I didn't bother putting a location in my first write up. However I feel like Animal Kingdom could be a great fit for it with it's ties to nature.

The basic premise would be an enclosed "forest" split into 4 rooms with each holding a different season frozen in time. Guests can visit all of the seasons and try specialty drinks and snacks while enjoying the atmosphere of the season thanks to ambient background sounds, different scents, and interesting characters who will tell folk tales about the seasons. On weekends the four seasons will combine together for a stage performance about the changing of the seasons.
Here is the initial pitch again

Possible story could be the festival of four seasons, a time of year where the fairies all get together in the timeless forest (the bar where each season is frozen in it's permenant season) to celebrate the cycle of death and rebirth of the earth

I LOVE that idea.

A whole “join the fairies as they celebrate the rebirth of the earth by going into the timeless forest of the seasons”

Allows us to have a couple fairy characters, some season specific characters, a solid backstory, and more!

Characters to build and expand upon:

- A fairy for each season
- A "head" fairy?

Rooms to build:
- Each of the 4 seasons
- How they connect
- Do guests enter through a season?

Misc.:
- Themed drinks and dining per season
- Presentation -> I have no ideas for a presentation like this.
- Art
- Music
- Building the backstory into a larger thing (explanation of celebration, fairy names, etc.)

Timeless Forest is a great name.

I don't see how the more mystical theme with the fairies fits into Epcot though? But if we focus on them as more personifications of natural phenomenon than as fairies, I could see it. I think the DAK location or Downtown work better. BUT Epcot has been trying to add more fairy tale type stuff in recent years, so it isn't too out of theme.

If we do use the Land Pavilion, the theater feels like our best bet. It is pretty underutilized space in my opinion. Plus, multiple level could give us a good chance for an elevator lol.

I think the circular set up I suggested for the Fairy Ring restaurant could work here.

Full 360 wrap around bar. Four themed section. The closer to the center bar, the more similar the sections to make transitions smooth, the further from the centers the more unique and heavily themed the sections are.

- A "head" fairy?
Oberon and Titania from Midsommer's Night's Dream could be the head fairies. With fully original characters for the four seasons. Maybe 2 or 3 with a separate show for each one.

- Do guests enter through a season?

I would say enter through Spring feels like the start of the "cycle" of seasons. Though Summer might be a better entrance since it is the most "generic" season. Like, Spring has flowers, Fall has leaves changing colors, Winter has snow/ice, Summer doesn't have as much distinctive.

- Presentation -> I have no ideas for a presentation like this.

While I think another video might like you suggested might get us marked down with just doing one last round, I did really like the idea of writing it in first person persepective. Put the reader in the shoes of someone visiting. MAYBE do it as a comic? That way we can keep a heavy focus on visuals and also have a more unique presentation. It would need a LOT of art or reference photos though.

Also, I make no promises of being able to record it right now as the few people in the household that were still working have the next two weeks off (I was originally gonna be at a family reunion right now in Maryland lol). So, there isn't really a lot I can do to get a private, quiet space. BUT I think this would be a good round for some original music.

People singing or playing instruments would be best, but even just writing out lyrics could be good.

An original Dance move that one of the characters could teach guests could be interesting. Like a line dance type thing.

Maybe a club chant/motto.

The Adventurer's Club was big on traditions, inside jokes, and stuff like that. Having distinct "things" is important.

If we lean into the "Festival" story we could have "toasts." Different characters yelling out limericks where everyone raises their glasses and they toast a different character.

I like that! Almost like a trip report of "I saw this, then this, and lastly this! You wouldn't believe how good xyz smelt!"

My sleep schedule had been absolutely !&#%$? lately so I apologize for my lack of response. I’ve been working on flushing out the backstory right now. I will be posting it in a bit here, I just have to finish a couple of personal things first!
