Things that need to be done:

Backstory: I will now finalize this based on our new agreed-upon idea

Characters:
- The grand fairies have names but not much beyond that

- Names and stories for the four season fairies

- Music
@Pi on my Cake suggested we try to make an original song for this. I think it would be a lot of work with three of us but if we have the time and motivation, it could come out really cool!

- Descriptions
Describing the underground area, the main circle bar/ tree, the four seasons. The more detail, the better

- Performances
Both on the main stage as well as off of the tree/ underground area we need to come up with performance ideas and descriptions. I have nothing off of the top of my head for this one.

I can take the four seasons areas upstairs, and I probably can do the roots section too but I dont wanna agree to any more than that at the moment just in case it takes me longer than expected. when i am done with those I can come back and take more things.

Also, its not a huge part of the project but I already have specialty drink ideas both alcoholic and not so I can write those up super fast and not worry to much about it

Monty is taking the interior descriptions right now:

I can do the descriptions of the interiors! I'll just go off the schematics that @Pi on my Cake provided earlier but expand on them (since we're dealing with a multi-level show area).

But I would love to hear the drink ideas you have!

Hello! By the way, where are we putting the bar? Downtown Disney in Anaheim or Disney Springs in Florida? @AceAstro, you mentioned both locations in two of your previous posts:

So what if we do Downtown Disney. The “main floor” you come in underground. There is a small bar and just little things. The large spiral staircase roots take you up to the second floor where all Four Seasons are
A two-level bar located in Disney Springs where the lower level is the underground earth designed for all ages while walking up the roots of the trees takes guests to the 21+ four seasons area that is kept maintained by a grand fairy.

Haha great call.

I was personally thinking Disney Springs (only been to it once called that so habit makes me still say Downtown Disney) but there is a lot more room if we tore down the Rainforest Cafe building and built it there. They have Trader Sams and that’s it for themed bars.

Thoughts team?

I was thinking Disney Springs as well, but replacing the T-Rex Cafe instead. It's nearer to the main Springs area than the Rainforest Cafe/Lava Lounge, and it's situated in a fairly forested area already (which, I assume, would be easy to tie in with the exterior of the bar given the forest setting).

We could even introduce water/river elements to the bar (because what's a forest without a river?) and connect it to the main Springs. Maybe even make it the "origin" of the titular Springs!

I like that idea! I’ll check out the google map to see how that could connect nicely.

I managed to make a "news article" for the Disney Springs Daily about the new bar. I know @AceAstro is doing the backstory, but I can't seem to move forward with the interior design until I know what it looks like on the outside. Let me know what you guys think (especially you, Ace):
Mysterious forest appears in Disney Springs
Rumors of a newly-discovered area near the Marketplace have the locals of Disney Springs a-buzzing. Early reports suggest that the old archaeological dig site seemingly disappeared and in its place, a previously unplotted forest appeared overnight. An investigation from the Disney Springs police department is currently ongoing, but the locals have speculated the best and the worst of what's inside this forest.

From the Marketplace, the new forest has presented interesting properties that suggest mystical elements are at play here. It was observed by locals that trees with leaves of varying colors (or even lack thereof) dotted the landscape, "as if all four seasons converged on this specific place," says Alma Jackson, a resident of The Landing area. Derek Mathieson, a representative from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), says that it is "impossible" for any forest to exhibit such behaviors, especially in Florida. Keen-eyed observers have also noticed new waterways emerging from this forest and into the current springs area. Current maps provided by the Disney Springs Historical Society and the DEP only show the current springs area as seen today. The oldest map of the land, which dates from the late 1800s, also only shows the current springs area as well. Perhaps the most peculiar aspect of this forest is the "Mother Tree", a massive and towering tree that rises above the forest. No other tree within Disney Springs has reached this height, according to the local biology unit at Disney Springs.

As such, locals are highly convinced that something otherworldy is afoot within this new forest. Some even go on and say that mystical beings roam the area as its keepers and protectors, while others say a terrible creature guards the forest against intruders and trespassers. Until the investigation has been completed, no one can say for sure what lies beyond the treeline of the new forest.

Just some notes:
  • The overall land layout of the nightclub is similar to @Pi on my Cake's original design, but I've decided to expand on it as such:
    • At Ground Level
      • Each quadrant/season will instead be placed outdoors with cleverly-disguised canopies to shelter guests. Under such canopies, seating and staging areas will be placed.
      • Smaller kitchens will also be placed in each quadrant as well to handle food orders at the ground level.
      • Since we're also catering to the young'uns, maybe we should have forest/fairy-themed play areas per quadrant as well?
      • At the center of the land is the Mother Tree (similar to the Tree of Life at DAK). In the roots of the Mother Tree is a staging area, where Oberon, Titania, and the Fairies of All The Seasons (temporary name, obvs) welcome guests at the start of the night
        • Disguised ramps (with fencing) will run around the trunk of the tree to allow adult guests (21+) to reach the Canopy Bar, where the *actual* fun begins. Don't worry, there's also a cleverly-disguised OTIS elevator near the staging area that runs along the trunk of the tree for those who can't walk up/down the ramps.
    • At the Second Level (Mid-Trunk)
      • Backstage areas for the cast: breakrooms, dressing rooms, etc.
      • Main kitchen and food and drinks storage areas
    • At the Third Level (Tree Canopy)
      • The actual 21+ only bar and the only fully-enclosed area within the club. I'm thinking of implement projection mapping here (a la Space 220) to enforce the idea that the guests are still "outside" and "seating on the massive tree branches" but not really for safety reasons.

This is perfect! I will get you the backstory ASAP to help with larger descriptions but that is pretty much how I pictured it. I love how the mid-level is the kitchen area. Makes sense so it is only one level up or down to deliver food.

Wanted to do a quick test of the centre tree to see y'all's thoughts. What if the main tree was spliced into quarters that represented all the seasons at the same time?

Here is the view of it representing Fall and Winter at the same time:

I actually thought about this as well! I think if the transitions between each segment are done nicely/organically, it would look great. Maybe we could have two similar-looking seasons right next to each other (Spring-Summer, Fall-Winter) so that the transitions doesn’t look that jarring?

As a "Call back" to our other idea of this theme, I propose the four season fairy names to be stylized versions of the seasons in Greek.

For Spring, Anoxi (based on Anoixi). For Summer, Kalokari (Based on Kalokaíri). For Fall, Thosi (Based on Ptósi). For Winter, Hemonas (based on Cheimónas).

Gives them names attributed to their season while also be slightly stylized.

Things are looking great!

So, Ace is doing the story, Monty is doing the interior, and Pix is doing some specialty menu items.

I can work on some of the shows and some special stuff like the limerick toasts! Unless there is something else that we need more from me?

This is due tomorrow night. I'm gonna try to have a lot of my part written tonight

Welcome to the Timeless Forest. This isn’t an ordinary forest, however.

sulyHmFtQy3wZCyDC3OZpBEMitk5njP3ikC_0G6rMn73Aqgz7fgI6ELlW9sDejG-RVy4u5GPhxh0lAaFQU5y7Wxh-B80ZlghjYq3xydWATZ0LvSUxzGogodUvgQESUctliOrxbKC

Not much is known about the history of the forest beyond one thing: it never changes. It doesn’t matter if it is June 21st, or December 21st, the forest looks the same. How? Regardless of the day of the year, the Timeless Forest showcases all Four Seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter) at the same time. But that’s not just by luck...

To keep the Timeless Forest timeless, Oberon and Titania are the head fairies of the forest. Without them, the Timeless Forest would just be like any other forest in the world-changing to match the seasons. But two fairies can’t keep a whole forest from changing seasons. Anoxi (based on the Greek word Anoixi meaning Spring), Kalokari (based on the Greek word Kalokaíri meaning Summer), Thosi (based on the Greek word Ptósi meaning Fall) and, Hemonas (based on the Greek word Cheimónas meaning Winter) have their duties of keeping each of their individual seasons timeless.

At the Tree of the Times (thoughts on this name for the centre tree?), Oberon and Titania can be found making sure that no matter what happens, the forest stays magical. Anoxi, Kalokari, Thosi, and Hemonas can constantly be found in their respective seasons making sure their perfect season can be seen to all who enter the Timeless Forest.
