I feel like this season there may be too much going on for just an hour. I was expecting the duel to be at the end of this episode, but I guess that will be next week. Unless they make the Redemption Island people live together for a few days before their battle? So confused!! So next week should be interesting!
Russell's starting to tick me off. His arrogence is nauseating. I can't wait to see the Rooster put him in his place.
My favorite line of the show was when Rob said "let it be a lesson to you...Government jobs...VERY STRESSFUL!" :lol:

Some nice camera work this week.
Even though he has an idol, rooster boy going after Russell isn't a good idea. It's gonna take a big blind side to get the veterans out of the game. And I agree that they seem to be cramming too much into the hour now. I would like to see more of the tribes interactions.
But things are shaping up to be another good season.

I think Ralph (Rooster?) should make a fake immunity idol and put it in the wrapper and put it in the hollow tree. Russell would find it and make a big play with it and it would be fake. I like Russell, I really do but that would be AWESOME to see any player do. Especially w/Russell's arrogance...it would take him down a peg or 2.
HAH...As much as I love Russell, That would be friggin AWESOME to see. The look on his face would be priceless. Obviously with Redemption Island waiting, it would have its repercussions.

I wonder if that's where it's heading...did you see the preview for next week with the little brown haired girl telling Russell it would be the biggest blindside ever? How could they pull that off, just the 2 of them (or 3 with the blonde haired girl), without an (air quotes) idol. As an aside...I may actually know these people's names right now if they showed more camp life.
Totally agree. I only know the one hottie's name because it's the same as my wife's name. Other than that it's Russell, Rob, Rooster, Phil, Francesca and Christine. I was introduced to Matt this week because he got whacked. I could guess and maybe get another name or 2 right.

That was my first thought. If Ralph knows how to play the game as well as he says, that would be the ideal move, especially knowing that Russell has the clue. Of course, getting Russell eliminated would be a dumb move. As much as he's hated by other contestants in every season he's in...he's the player you WANT sitting next to you when the vote for 1million dollars goes down. But I would love to see his feathers get ruffled with a fake idol.
Well, the underarm acne/rash scene with Russell was enough to make me tune completely off of tonight's episode. Hopefully that particular storyline is done for and we can enjoy the rest of the season.

so dumb to throw a challenge pre merge! It would be a win-win! You win...you get immunity, reward and the other team loses a player. You lose...you vote out your biggest threat. Win-Win!
Voting Russell off was smart because 1) you know he is a threat and dangerous and can vote off anyone at anytime. 2) physical threat once individual immunity starts 3) has some way of people trusting him and then he takes control
But #1 reason to keep him - everyone hates him! He's a guaranteed million dollars if you are w/him at the end. No one will give him the money. I'd keep him around for that!

Well, I do hope that B-Rob's team goes on a tear and wipes out the remaining moron's on Russell's team. This wasn't the time to throw a challenge. Just stupid. Worry about whacking him when you lose one legit and keep on building up the numbers. The redemption challenge was...in the words of Miley Cyrus..."Pretty Cool!!!".

I am not happy with last night's episode. Like they said at tribal, you don't throw a challenge when you're only up 2. They probably would've won last night had they actually tried. Then they're up 3 and can keep dominating. You wait until right at the merge or soon after the merge to even attempt to get rid of Russell. TBH, I think Russell is the greatest player to have ever played the game and really hopes he makes it back into the game from Redemption Island. KEEP HOPE ALIVE!
I can't wait to see B-Rob's reaction when he finds out Russell was voted out and is on Redemption island. That should be an interesting speech. And does that change the voting if Russell gets past Matt and remains? If it is his tribe that has to send the next person there, do you send one of his alliance members to make sure one of them is gone or do you send a strong person to finish the job? Does B-Rob's team see the light and send B-Rob to battle Russell to guarantee one of the 2 veterans is gone?

I was wondering the same thing. My guess is that the Redemption Island challenges won't be based on brut strength - so every person has somewhat of a chance to win the duel. I think they'll send the annoying little big mouthed brown haired girl (Stephanie?) who thinks she's the goddess of strategy. At least I hope - I'm not sure I can take much mpre of her.

Honestly...I need a little more LIFE in this season. If Russell goes next week or the week after...it's like the whole "ROB V RUSSELL" angle is lost. So far the season just seems "meh" to me. I want some action, some fights or some big backstabbing blind side! Ooo and I'm ready for big reward challenges. My favorite is the one where they bid on things they don't know what it is.
