HAH!!! I love that the old Zap's are being picked off one by one...ya think Russell would have been able use his experience along the way to turn the tide??? DUH!!!! One of the most stupid moves is coming back to bite them.

I also like how the B-Rob's are just flaunting the fact that they have no interest in a true merge and becoming one. And B-Rob is in a great place. They all know that nobody will give him the million, so they want to take him with to the end. And for those that say it isn't a strategic move, that is wrong. It is a good strategy to let the most experienced player orchestrate things and take you to the end. Things will spice up quickly when they need to take out one of their own.

Excellent moves to take Dave & Mike out last night. Depending on the challenge, each one has something different to take Matt out with.

I agree that Phil is sort of crazy, but he is a smart dude. He initially looked like a threat, then was surely on the way out, but adjusted and he is in good standing now and has a chance when before he didn't.

I really do think that they will stick together until the Zaps are gone.

There was a shot when they went back to camp, through the trees withthe sky in the background where they sky actually looked GREEN. It was visually stunning.

I loved the way Dave was comparing Rob's reign to a mob family. The parallels were strikingly similar. Good thing they don't have a canoe in this season. :lookaroun

I'm really loving how things are playing out. Can't wait until next week!!

Oooh I love me some B-Rob! The look of desperation on their faces as they watched the former Zaps eat that fish was apparent.
It is going to be very interesting to watch the former Ometepes have to start going after each other. Grant has to know he's going to be the first to go. Those chicks are worthless and so is Phillip for that matter. They're the most obvious to stick around because no one really would have a reason to give them the $$.
I was disappointed to see Mike and Dave go. I always hate to see good players leave early and have worthless people (like those girls) hang around. Plus, Mike was pretty nice to look at...:animwink:

I know that it is stupid to throw a challenge, but I like all the members of the Zapatera tribe. Well, the ones that remained after the merge. I hate seeing them get picked off, but I know it was their own fault. I can't believe that Ometepe is following Rob like they are, and I don't think it is one of those strategic moves to let him get on the jury's bad side for the sake of getting votes. I really think that they are that clueless. Eventually they will have to start writing each other's names down, and Rob would be my first vote.


I really hope that they do something different with Redemption Island, especially since there are three people at Redemption now.

you gotta have a plan for what you do after you stop playing dumb and stupid.. Phillip doesn't have one. He really thinks he is this uber-elite guy which he failed to pick up on in the first days no one gave one ounce about his being a 'federal agent'. He thinks it's like being the president.. everyone thinks its like being a garbage man.

his best play is being a token like he is and stop being a flight risk like he was early. It will get him further in the game - but he has no chance at all at winning. His term will last until his usefulness is no longer needed.

It's unfortunate that Survivor hasn't managed to change the game up enough to stop the way to get to the end simply to be 'have the most loyal tokens'.

With Rob's strategy this game of 'don't let anyone talk' - they need to break that up or they will have one really boring TV show in the future and for the rest of the season.

so I hadn't read much online about this season's survivor yet.. but starting to catch up.

We noticed about two episodes ago when they showed Phillip they said in the onscreen caption 'former federal agent ?' with a question mark??

And in this week's post, Jeff P wrote

"As for whether or not he was actually a former federal agent, I will get to the bottom of that during the live reunion show Sunday, May 15th. Mark it down."

Luckily I had this one on DVR. For whatever reason(well, I'm pretty sure I know the reason), Phil just bugged the heck out of me this week and I was able to FF right past anytime he was talking. It did make the show go much quicker because it seemed he was always on squawking.

Anyhoo...not my favorite episode of the season.

And taking his shorts was just too low. I can see where Russell burned a sock, but what what's-her-face did was just wrong. I'm glad the B**** was voted out.

Sorry Omt's... you reap what you sow. They were the ones who insisted on having things seperate.. so when all of a sudden they need what the others have... now it's communal? Sorry - nope, you made your bed now sleep in it.

And Phillip got exactly what he deserved. He threatened to take other people's stuff.. so he got a taste of his own venom.

The whole bringing out the race card stuff was just absurd. The man painted a bad picture for others that day. If cornered... play the race card.

Steve should have said 'I called you crazy because you were acting like a lunatic. Don't want to be called crazy? Don't act it'

Hey, thanks for the link. He's an IT geek! He's sold for Sybase and Informatica, among others. I may have actually crossed paths with him at a conference or two, as I am also an IT geek.

Without Phillip, these past few weeks of the Oms pagonging the Zaps would have been way boring. My projected, non-spoiled boot order:

9th - Steve
8th - Ralph
7th - Grant
6th - Whoever comes back from Redemption Island
5th - Ashley
4th - Andrea

Finale: Rob vs. Phillip vs. Natalie

Rob wins 5 (all Zaps) to 2 to 2.

And then there were none. So glad to see the challenge throwing Zaps all gone. They all paid for their stupid move. And Matt hanging in there is AMAZING. I though they were going to whack Andrea, but glad to see it was Steve.

And Rob still has the Idol. You know they are gonna make a move on him and he will use it. Now it's gonna get real interesting.

I hope that now that all the Zaps are gone, we get to see a little more strategy and backstabbing. It's been a bit of a snooze-fest since we haven't seen anyone make any big moves or super blindsides.

Phillip's act is getting old. I'm so tired of seeing him. He's not even funny anymore, just plain annoying. If he makes it to the end, I'm going to lose all faith in this show.

I'm not sure it matters who comes back from Redemption Island. Do they even have a chance? I'm just figuring they're going to be voted off first since none of the remaining Zaps will blink an eye without Rob knowing about it first.

Julie's parting speech was heartbreaking. So unfortunate to hear about her home in foreclosure.

And I'm not sure I've mentioned this before, but was anyone else surprised that players have been allowed to watch the duels on RI? I assumed when the season started, they would be kept in the dark as to who was still there. It would add an element of strategy if they didn't know who potentially could be coming back. Just my .02...

I'm hoping "crazy" Philip is next (and no, that's not a racist comment :lol: ). Would love to see how the game went had Russel still been in the game, sure bet all of the Zaps are kicking themselves now for booting him. I guess I'll have to pull for Rob to get it all (finally for him).

Nice little blindside of Andrea this week. I was waiting for B-Rob to fall down the steps after the challenge. I dunno if I could have given up the loved one visit the way Mike did. As cold as the Ome's are, I don't know if they will give him a vote for that. I am intrigued by when they are going to bring the redemption winner back in the game. Matt is putting on a clinic out there.

Prediction: the final 3 or 4 on the game will square off against the final 3 or 4 on redemption island and the winning team goes to the finals.

I can't believe this is finale week - seems like there are so many people left to get sent to the jury. Should be interesting to see who comes back from Redemption Island - strange that Matt who basically didn't have to play a social game whatsoever can possibly make it to the finals (and would win in a landslide).

Immunity idol only good to 5 left? Rob would be better off if he doesn't have to play it (might annoy people that he didn't share he had it).

It's a shame but this season has only been "meh" for me. I like Boston Rob and want him to win but I kind of won't really care either way. So much time is spent on Philip rambling on and on. I don't even know the other girls names in B Rob's tribe because they are rarely shown. I hope someone from Rob's tribe wins just to show them how stupid it was to throw a challenge and vote out russell pre merge. Excited to see the finale though like always. Hoping next season they go back to the basics - not a fan of the redemption island. Takes away from reward challengers which I LOVE. My fav is the one where you bid on something under a box...may be a pizza, may be more rice. Love it.
