Survivor: Kaôh Rōng

Gotta admit, I did not hate Scott this week.

Sad that the Peter blindside did not go through after all. (Maybe next week.) I understand Tai not wanting to waste his idol yet.

I know it's the editing, but I love how the arrogant ones are often the ones in jeopardy. Could easily have been either Anna or Peter this week, and I would have been equally happy either way.

Wonder if Scott is Tai's new night time cuddle bunny? :joyfull:

Ok, the whole deal with the girl who was alone could have been made much better if she would have known how to start a fire....WITH FLINT!!! I mean come on. If you're so cold, then get the fire started. Spend time like Blondie did and get it going. You're alone, so there isn't anything else to do. And if you don't know, then PRACTICE it at home before you go. You know fire and the need to start it is a big thing. Flint is available at outdoor stores. So aggravating to me. Why should I have sympathy for her when it was avoidable.

With all of the focus on Anna tonight, and really none in previous episodes, I had a feeling she was gone tonight.

You have to figure if they do the extra 100K for the fan favorite award, Tai will get it.

Pretty entertaining episode. The twist with the one on their own was interesting. She'll either be a huge target, or a big asset when she goes to the other tribe.

With the tribe swap, several people got more air time that they have, so that was interesting. I think from the losing tribe, Tai and Scot have established an alliance that will be strong. Aubry seems to be the most cunning of the brains, and probably the best all-around player. Peter got put in a good position, but he's still digging his grave with his cockiness.

Also, was that one of the least exciting puzzles in Survivor history, or was it just me?

I think the winner is going to be one of the following: Tai, Jason, Michelle, Cydney, or Neil. Scot seems to be the guy who will make it to the end and lose - Cydney could wind up here, too, but I can see her turning it on. Debbie seems to be the one to take to the merge, but her quirkiness and drive will ultimately be the downfall of her. Michelle is my current dark horse to win.

I'm interested to see how the rest of the season shakes out!

I pretty much completely agree with you on those people that have a chance of winning. Personally I'd probably swap in Julia over Michele, I just don't think she's done that much or is that great of a personality for me to think that she can win. Still rooting for Tai really :p and I think he can win if he goes far enough with his idol and wins the right immunities and is with the right people. After Tai I'm rooting for Neal/Julia, and also Cydney and Debbie are really growing on me.

As far as the other few go...
-Joe/Aubry I think are good and interesting characters, but have just been to under the radar for me to get a good read on either of them really.
-I feel like the only times Nick is ever showed is just to show him being douchey, so, I guess you could say he's a character? :p
-Peter is a walking blindside edit and I kind of love it

I always thought it was going to be beauty that took control of the game post-merge, but now that both tribes seem to be dividing and conquering in targeting beauty, I guess is a way you could put it, I don't know. I personally think brains is going to go pretty deep and, if they can all come together, be quite the powerhouse.

Unless we see the epic Peter-turns-on-brains moment we seem to be building towards...

But yeah, great episode! Really loving this season. It's weird...I really liked Second Chance too, but I like this season in a whole different kind of way...Like, this season is more character based over big strategy, and just has an overall more intense feel. For example, every time we see somebody with even just a minor injury or something, I think they are going to be medivacted :p I half thought Julia was dead at first when they went to ToTang:cyclops: :p;)

Not sure how valid this is - saw it elsewhere and screen-shot it:

Rumor is around various forums and stuff is that season 34 is going to be another full all stars... Which IMO is too soon, but nonetheless I'll never not watch or anything :p

That said, if it's true. But it's very likely to be...

Also wouldn't be surprised to see another fan vote based on its success for SC

A fan-voted All-Stars would be awesome. A dream All-Stars cast for me based on two 10-person tribes:

Men:
1. Spencer Bledsoe
2. Boston Rob
3. Terry Dietz
4. Jonathan Penner
5. Malcolm Freberg
6. Rob Cesternino
7. Mike Holloway
8. Russell Hantz
9. Tony Vlachos
10. Tom Westman

Women:
1. Parvati Shallow
2. Brenda Lowe
3. Carolyn Rivera
4. Ciera Eastin
5. Kelley Wentworth
6. Laura Morett
7. Stephenie LaGrossa
8. Tina Wesson
9. Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien
10. Andrea Boehlke

From this season I would like Tai and Caleb so far.

Other, lesser-known players that would be fun to return for a second time: Eddie Fox, Reynold Toepfer, Hayden Moss, Reed Kelly, Natalie Anderson, Jon Misch, Brad Culpepper, Heidi Stroebel, Ian Rosenberger, Jefra Bland, Joaquin Souberbielle, Michael Snow, Rafe Judkins, Yul Kwon, Mike Holloway.

And yes, I found a site that lists every player ever.

EDIT - And keep in mind, I haven't seen season 21-25.

Caleb, Hayden and Natalie? I know Jeff doesn't like bringing in people from other shows, but those three have been pretty good for Survivor.
Jeff did not want Caleb AT ALL this season, but was the first to admit that he's now a big fan.

Hayden did not embarrass himself in any way either.

We shall see.

I doubt we'll get Brenda back any time soon. Her baby is still quite young.

Brenda was the first Survivor I ever rooted for. I started watching in 26 when she was on Caramoan. I remember being heartbroken by Dawn's betrayal.

Hayden I think is likely to come back for another future season. He was in the shortlist for the second chance ballot before he got cut. I guess they saw him as not fitting the second chance narrative since he won big brother. Also a few others I remember that were almost on the ballot that didn't make it were Chelses from S24 and Cliff from S28, and then freaking Greg from S1! Greg ended up turning down at the end for work related reasons, but my god I want that boy back :p
