Yowza...the blindsider becomes the blindsidee. Corinne opened her mouth to the wrong person too early. She should have just kept it a tight secret sub alliance. The best thing was for the others to split the vote for Reynold and Eddie. Then the 6 of them just take out Philip. Sherri was just there and would have been a non-factor.

At least it is getting interesting now.

One of the most interesting episodes in a long time. Cochrane was awesome. Not sure it's going to help him get girls, but he totally rocked that challenge. I found Corinne HIGHLY entertaining but I am glad the blindside worked out. Everyone loves a blindside (well...almost everyone!). I don't remember because I was so shocked...did Jeff say "xth person voted out and first member of our jury"? or just that she was voted out?

I didn't hear him say anything about first member of our Jury. There isn't any Ponderosa footage out on cbs.com yet, so I'll have to say she's just out and not on the Jury.

He definitely did not say anything about the jury. i'd expect the next elimination to be the first jury member.

What's the jury?
You'll see in a week or so.

Also from the preview for next week, it looks like a little romance may blossom (?) Haven't people learned from the past that coupling up is one of the quickest ways to become targeted for elimination?

After the merge, at a certain point the eliminated players become members of the jury.
The jury are the ones who vote for the final winner. So, you have a fun dynamic of having people who usually have been screwed over, blindsided, etc.. being in ultimate control over who wins the million dollar prize.

Oh... I'm not sure how I feel about that. I guess I never really thought about how the winner is chosen.

Thanks!

It makes the whole game. Up until now, there's not so much consequence for voting someone out. They are just gone. Now, the players have to face the people they voted out, and be able to convince them that they should win the money.

When do they try to convince them? Is there just one show at the end, or do the people stay at the camp, or what?

On the last episode is when they vote. Each finalist gets to make a little speech, then the jury members are allowed to question/address the finalists.
This part is fun, because often the ones who were screwed over will just yell at the finalists and tell them what creeps they are.
They do the voting process as normal. But, instead of Probst reading the votes as he usually does, he holds the votes until the live finale reunion show, which immediately follows the end of that episode. The reunion begins with Probst reading the votes and announcing the winner.

I see this as being very comical and fun. :D
