'twas a great episode. As to Phillip on the jury, it's possible he might actually respect the guys for making a smart move.SPOILER FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YET!
My TV didn't lie! That was the greatest thing ever! Haha, I laughed a lot during that. Totally wasn't expecting it to be Phillip. This should spice up the competition, and the jury a lot. Should Eddie, Malcolm, or Reynold make it to the final, Phillip is going to HATE them!
I'm still excited!

The only time the producers are allowed to interfere is if there is a health risk/injury. They get to make the call if someone has to go, despite if the player wants to stay (if it is something serious). Other than that, the only "interference" would be when Jeff is asking questions during tribal council, seeing if somebody will let something slip, or reveal a strategy, etc. The rest is all the contestants actions & choices.Terrific episode. Loved the Tribal Council and the looks on everyone's faces. But I wonder how much the producers intervene in the game when they want to keep things from getting too predictable. They have control over the challenges (physical, mental or whatever) and when and where to put the hidden idols. Not to let the players off the hook - some of them make their own bad luck by being jerks or being too lazy to search for idols.
Speaking of Phillip and last night, does anyone else think he made up that story about why he was afraid of doing that challenge?
With him, I'm suspicious that he just didn't want to look bad doing it.

Dawn was at her wits end by that point. In the Phillip interview, I think he hit Brenda spot on with his word association. She's dangerous, IMO. Stay quiet, be nice to everyone, be very friendly and approachable.
As of now, everyone will want to vote for her at the end, because she's the good girl who can't do wrong. She's effective in the challenges, and she's tough.
Oh and also, what was up with Dawn and the lost retainer thing? I'm confused as to how she wouldn't be able to play the game without it. Are there infection concerns? Is it an absolute must for eating? Or did she just not feel comfortable with teeth missing?
Dawn was at her wits end by that point.
I think she just felt way to embarrassed to be without her teeth on camera and in front of the other players.
I don't think it was like a medical necessity. I think she was threatening to pull herself out because she was that freaked out at that moment. That's what I thought. She made it sound like it's a necessity, though.

I was thinking the same thing last night. And it seems nobody else in the game has a target on her, so she could easily slide under the radar into the final. I'm surprised none of the contestants see this threat in her. Like you said, likeable, hard working around camp, and does very well in the challenges. Letting her make it to the finals would be perilous for anyone else still competing. In the Phillip interview, I think he hit Brenda spot on with his word association. She's dangerous, IMO.
