Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs Favorites

I don't agree Tater. The right move was made last time, but then this one it wasn't. He never should have stopped looking with Andrea there. If anything, start looking in some wrong places and get her to expend some energy too. Then go back over and continue looking. Go get one of the boys to run interference while he continues to look. He had to know he was #1 on the hit list. I think Erik made the right move, but Sherri made the wrong move. She's still "a fan" and not "a favorite". She is on the bottom.

I agree - Malcolm should have never let Andrea's presence stop his digging. Why did he assume the water meant the well? Aren't they on a beach?

another good episode. at least this season has made up for some of the weaker ones of late. But it looks like the momment of opportunity has passed for Erik and Sherri... the true 'core' alliances are going to hold on now to the end.

This puzzled me too as why he stopped. If he found it while she's watching, it's not like she can do anything but tell the others. This would keep others from writing his name down at tribal, he could pass it to another of the Three Amigos and possibly blindside someone else. I didn't get why it was such a big deal to have her watching.

He said he wouldn't have used it for that Tribal Council even if he had found it. He thought he was safe. So no rush in finding it. He probably thought Andrea would be voted off.

He was worried that if she saw where he was working.. she would jump in too.. and potentially find it before him.

If you are both digging in the target area... there is a risk she happens to hit it first. It would take physically restraining her to keep her 'out'..

I missed how the first vote went 3-3-3 no one flipped at all?

I wonder if in the future they will rework the revote rules again. They seem to be used too strongly now to minimize the minority in the revote.

Bring back the fire challenge! :)

Just watched it. Malcolm wasted a lot of money on that clue. Andrea is probably going to find it now. Maybe he told Eddie and Reynold the clue, if that's the case, then they could be safe next week, too. Given they find it and win the immunity challenge.

Brenda showed her first signs of weakness this week, I thought. She probably bottled up her emotions a little too much.

Looking forward to next week's episode. Sounds like the core alliance is falling apart soon.

he's also had the benefit of being on the side of the numbers.. and having a leader up until now. Has he played any better than Brenda?

Brenda's played very well, but she might be targeted this week. The previews had Andrea, Cochran, and Erik sitting in the water talking about who they should target first: Dawn or Brenda? I think we might have another interesting episode coming.

So there are two immunity challenges and two tribal counsels this week. Is it normal for that to happen at this point in the season? And do they continue this through the end of the season?

In past seasons there's been two tribal councils in one episode, but usually it's been earlier in the season when you still have two tribes. There are eight people left and only two episodes left before the finale. The finale usually starts with five people left and two immunity challenges to get down to a final three. It makes sense to eliminate two people this week.

Wow, only a couple more episodes? What will I do with my Wednesday nights when this is over? :p

But this really is a crazy game as far as rules/structure goes. Part of the reason why I fell in love with it this season!

The finale is on Sunday, May 12th. It's a two hour episode followed by a one hour reunion show.

Tonight's episode (5/01/13) will be called: "The Beginning Of The End".
Two immunity challenges and two Tribal Council's raise the stakes, forcing castaways to consider big moves on their biggest threats.

Cannot wait. :D
