Thought it was going to be Tasha, then after the challenge it somehow changed to majority going against Kass and Ciera? I'm glad it was Kass over Ciera. I really like Ciera. Not sure why she voted Savage, other than possibly planting paranoia in his mind.

I wonder how the votes will align next week. There are very rough alliances forming, but there is no real test to them.

Once again, great episode.

As for next week's previews, looks like another big move. Every time I hear that I get nervous it's going to be Spencer, but for him to make it this far with all the targets on his back is truly a big accomplishment. I wonder how real that Spencer/Joe "alliance" really is.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Can you imagine how awesome the merge would have been if Varner had still been there? It would have been awesome! His absence for me, is the biggest regret this season.

They have a traditional ponderosa vid on YouTube (in fact, they posted it 15 minutes before the end of the episode o_O:p). That's weird they don't have it on CBS.com though

I don't really understand the savage vote either. Maybe she knew there was no chance Spencer would flip so she just threw him an f-you vote. Idk :p

I also wonder about that alliance, as it seems like something that could go either way. Based on Spencer's football confessional it seems like he might think Joe has no idea what he's doing strategically so he might find it a good idea to take him along for that reason. But still, they both are huge targets so I would not be surprised to see them turn on each other when they get the chance. (Btw, while I like Spencer, that confessional was kind of douchey IMO)

I feel like he would have gone quickly after the merge. Too much messing around, screwing things up, etc. Kind of like Kass, actually.

Spencer has his douchey moments. Not harmfully douchey, though, just innocently speaking his mind.

But it would have been fun, and not mean-spirited like Kass. Ciera can go next hopefully.

I don't feel like Kass' rant this season was mean spirited. She actually told the truth to save herself. Ciera was the one making up lies, unless I'm forgetting it, or it was cut out of the edit. Socially she was definitely too abrasive, but I don't really feel like Kass brought her mean side to this game. I actually think Varner came off as the bad guy more than Kass did this season.

I would love to watch a season with you in person. We'd probably never speak to one another again, but it would be great fun. :hilarious:

We usually like who each other hates. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you seem to hold more of your personal morals and values to the game than I do. You seem more old school, and I'm more of a new school. Maybe that's because I started watching in the new school era.

Nailed it, I should think.

Kass was largely annoying in both of her seasons now. Chaos is a tactic not a strategy, and referring to yourself in the third person with your ridiculous nickname is pretentious. Good riddance.

Has the old guy with the southern drawl had more than 30 seconds of screen time? Every season there's an invisible player, and he's it this year.

Joe looks like a younger, prettier Jason Segel to me.

I didn't mind Ciara before, but her eye rolls and expressions at tribal really made me dislike her. Acts like my 14 yo daughter, a little brat.

Hope they whack her next episode.

Great reaction when Wentworth played her idol and great intuition to play it.

Savage got outwitted. Should be fun with him and Kass at Ponderosa.
