Survivor: Cambodia- Second Chance

SPOILERS AHEAD!

I'll start with Terry. My heart goes out for him. He's so passionate about the game, but family has to come first. So terrible. Definitely worse than a med-evac.

Onto the tribe swap. This is definitely a season of adapting to change. I still don't think there's a true alliance in this game. They haven't been with each other long enough to form anything strong. There are relationships, but alliances no.

I hated seeing the vote in Kass' hands, simply because you don't know what you're going to get. That and Spencer was vulnerable. Anytime they show an "easy plan" that early in the episode there's going to be a change of plans. Not sure why they chose Woo, but I'll take it over Spencer.

As for the previews, seems early for a merge, but I guess the season is halfway through. And looks like Kass might get power crazy. Should be interesting.

And for some players...

As much as I love Spencer, I don't think he has a shot at winning. He's been floating through without any real alliance, and not a lot of relationships. Every episode somebody is gunning for him, and much like Cagayan, he can't catch a break with his tribe winning.

For once it wasn't the Abi show! Still surprised she's made it this far, and she is now a candidate to be taken to the end because she has no true friends, and isn't a challenge threat.

Once again it was another exciting episode, and a very tension filled Tribal for me.

I questioned the Woo choice but I have a feeling they edited out the part where Abi suggested him.

I just Googled to see if season 32 had been confirmed, since I couldn't remember, and came across a spoiler for the theme of the season. I'll put it in a spoiler below.

Brains vs Brawns vs Beauty 2. Didn't look too much into it aside from the headline I saw, so the legitimacy might not be there.

Yep! BvBvB 2 is what I've heard as well! I think it's taking place in Cambodia again in Koh Rong. In fact, there are already some cast rumors if you're interested. I kinda skimmed through the cast because my curiosity got the better of me, but that's the biggest surprise I like to keep until it's actually announced :D http://insidesurvivor.com/2015/10/survivor-season-32-cast/

They actually filmed it back in March during Worlds Apart. Normally they would have filmed season 31 in March and then 32 in the summer, but they reversed it because of the fan voting.

I feel bad for the S32 finalists....They have to wait so long to know the results!

Terry's exit, his interview with his son after the credits, and Probst's plea for organ donation were some of the classier things the show has done. Glad everyone is OK.

The fluid alliance strategy started way back in Season 6 with Rob C. After a gazillion more seasons it has now degenerated (or matured, depending on how you want to look at it) into the alliance free-for-all we have now. #Blindside is the goal now, because it builds the resume for the Final Tribal Council.

That all said, I'm fine with the last couple of blindside boots. Monica and Woo were nobodies with no sense of strategy.

I'm now thinking it may be Ciera's game. She seems to be under-the-radar, but also partly calling the shots.

Ciera was one of my favorites entering the season. She was my original female pick to win. She's clever and not afraid to instigate anything. Plus, she won't be voted out because she's a physical threat. But I also think Wentworth could come out of the shadows in the merge. I'm not sure why, but she has a Parvati feel to her. Overlooked in her first season, but is eager to show what she's got in her second chance. Not that she'll be able to pull of Parvati-like blindsides, the cast isn't as stupid as then, but she just seems to have the Survivor intelligence.

My favorite male to win right now is Jeremy. Good plan of keeping Joe as the big man to shield him, plus he's smart, and is playing a great social game.

For those of you who have seen/remember Survivor Panama, Terry's first season, this is a pretty interesting observation I saw on another site:

"For Terry, now that we know Danny is doing well, I want to recall that he made a big scene downplaying the relative importance of the parent/child relationship in favor of the husband/wife bond during Panama, depriving Aras and Danielle of their visit with their moms in the process. It seems that this karmic fruit came back full circle to remind him that all family bonds are dearly important."

Wow - I actually recall that now that it's been brought up. Interesting observation.

I remember that, too. But I also remember thinking he's just saying that because he was trying to make himself seem less like a bad guy to people who already viewed him as the bad guy.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Buh-bye Chaos.
Too bad it wasn't a double eviction. I would have loved Ciera to join you at Ponderosa.

I'm the opposite :p
I really wanted to see Tasha go. But I knew their plan wouldn't work- Spencer and Wentworth were smart enough to stick with the majority. Also, I still don't understand why Ciera voted for Savage.

At this point I like the majority of the people that are there so I don't find myself hard rooting for anyone. There are quite a few people I view as my favorites so if any one of them go it won't be as devastating as those seasons where I only like ONE person and when they go I get mad.
