Yay!! Ozzie wins, RI actually DID something this season. The TV ad's were wrong, I was wonr...the marketing execs at CBS are pure genius!!

Glad to see the Oz back in the game.

Good grief. Someone get Sophie a fiddle & a box of kleenex. Heaven forbid if not everybody likes you. Welcome to being a human on planet earth.

Of the final five, the best player won. Rick did nothing. Albert was too transparent with his jury brown-nosing. Coach was annoying and hypocritical. Ozzy's entire strategy was win challenges. At least Sophie adapted, observed, and made good decisions.

This was a lackluster season with a ton of recycled challenges. The players were not all that interesting, either. Hopefully, casting will do a better job next season.

And Russell needs to go away.

Well, I was really hoping Sophie wouldn't win it. I just didn't like her. Then the crying stuff, really made me dislike her. I wanted to see Coach win it.

That said, I didn't see some of the Post Game show because of the football game going late and it messing up my DVR and cutting it off. Did Whit and Keith stay together after the show was done taping or are they done? Any other good tidbits from it?

As for the next one, I am hoping that they don't bring any former castaways back and it is a show of newbies. Unfortunately, Redemption Island did have an impact, so I'm afraid we are stuck with it for another season.

Yup - still together. I did the hour extention on the DVR (I got burned one too many times with the Amazing Race!). I was surprised Jeff didn't ask Mikayla anything about seeing stalker Brandon when the show aired. Mikayla, by the way, looked completely different and I spent much of the show thinking she was Elise until I realized Elise was sitting next to her. They showed a preview of next season, which starts in February, where the two separate teams live on the same Island, in the same quarters, and need to decide if they are going to pool resources, etc. They are 2 distinct teams competing in team challenges, it just kicks up the social game way earlier than usual. They didn't mention Redemption Island - although it's possible it's still there. Should be interesting.

Nobody EVER wins that I want to on reality tv. I HATED the couple who won the Amazing Race this year and couldn't stand Sophie either. Boston Rob winning last year was the first time EVER in reality TV that someone I wanted to win from the get go - won (Exception - Carrie Underwood...but I didn't really follow American Idol)

I hope there is no redemption island. It's not the island that I hate - but the amount of TV time/reward challenge time that it takes away from the hour. I miss the days of PURE survivor like from the beginning. Oh well...it's not like I won't watch next season. But I agree - no more old faces. I like it to be either all vets (ala All Stars) or all newbies.

So glad Coach didn't win. And glad Ozzie won fan favorite. Please let them be joking about Hantz versus Hantz. I won't watch.

I actually felt bad for Brandon at the finale. NO ONE from his family was there - except Russell - who was there as a prior player and would have been there anyway. The kid is so conflicted with who knows what - it's just sad to see. Did you notice the "Loco" tattoo on his neck was inked over?

I noticed the tattoo, but couldn't tell what the new one was. I also felt bad for Brandon, even though all season I thought he was creepy and couldn't wait for him to go. I was glad Sophie won - I didn't like Albert, and although I liked Coach more this time around, he was still getting on my nerves by the end. I was glad to see a woman make it to the end because she was a good competitor, and not because she was cute and rode someone's coattails.

Next season looks promising - interesting premise, could make for lots of drama.
