The facade opposite should be staying. The false perspective skyscrapers will go though. It will be really interesting to see what this looks like in a couple of weeks once all of the SOA is gone.

That's the same area???View attachment 159479 View attachment 159478
Here is a quick look. Top pic is today and second one is The night SOA closed. The whole right side is gone (notice the tree on the right in both pics).
Will they be replacing the false skyscrapers with a new facade that will match the New York themed PizzeRizzo? As always Marni, thanks for your updates and insight. That's the same area???
Will they be refacing it or leaving it as is?The facade opposite should be staying. The false perspective skyscrapers will go though.
Possibly refacing the facade but I can't confirm yet. Will they be refacing it or leaving it as is?
Will that side get muppet reskin or additional touches? The facade opposite should be staying. The false perspective skyscrapers will go though.
They can't since it will also be the east entrance to SWL.They should make that for the muppets area
Any changes in the direction of BLT's former entrance? From today, facing away from Toy Story Mania.
They put up the walls and got Universal to pay for them. #MakeDisneyWorldGreatAgainAnybody besides me wonder how long and how many people it took to just build all the walls that are up in WDW right now. That's probably what takes them so long to get started, with the volume of changes that they are making in all the parks.
Hey @marni1971 Can you confirm that the Osborne Light will not be returning to the facades that are staying? Rumor controlThe facade opposite should be staying. The false perspective skyscrapers will go though.
I heard the key pieces of the Osborne lights were returned to the family already.Hey @marni1971 Can you confirm that the Osborne Light will not be returning to the facades that are staying? Rumor control
true it might not be connected and I understand why. Muppets it's right in the middle of both but with the streets of America removed and they are so close to both star tours and what will be the new Star Wars it wouldn't be to difficult to make a transition that will not make it feel to disjointed from the land@marni1971 has already said that the Star Wars land will not be connected to Star Tours
I'd very very very very much doubt it.Hey @marni1971 Can you confirm that the Osborne Light will not be returning to the facades that are staying? Rumor control
Are there plans to make the park compelling for the Christmas season (i.e. decorations) in the absence of the Osborne Lights? Or are they taking their Santa hat out of the ring entirely?I'd very very very very much doubt it.
No inside info here but if I had to guess, I don't think anything will be done at all in this park, which is kinda sad. I've said it many times already (not a insider here). I believe Disney will be full steam ahead with promoting Star Wars: Rogue One which comes out Mid-December. They could always surprise us but if I was a betting man, I'd bet on Star Wars being the centerpiece of the park. Are there plans to make the park compelling for the Christmas season (i.e. decorations) in the absence of the Osborne Lights?
