You know that Windows 98 Illuminations show computer? There's a reason why Illuminations ended in September and ROTR opened in December....
Sadly, everything runs on Windows at Disney; even the registers. I think that's half the problem... 😏

I've heard each of the trackless vehicles have more computing power than the space shuttle! Fun fact!
LOL... The space shuttles had very sad computers; something like 3-5 Intel 80386 class CPUs.

Are you sure you're running the latest version of the app?

This is the main screen when I start the app:

Then click on that and it brings up this:

Thank you. I'm not up-to-date so I guess that explains it. After the updates changed the FP booking/modifications I preferred to keep the previous version. I've been "behind" before and never had issues with doing what I needed. I guess I'll have to update before I go.

My fun fact was a joke on how it was a commonly repeated fact that each test track car had more computing power than the space shuttles despite the shuttles having very poor computers.
I had no idea those were the CPUs they were running though, good lord that is pitiful.

So, after they post the sign stating the virtual queue is filled up. Does this mean that the standard queues are still being used? I'm a bit confused how that's explained here....

JUNE?!? Huge opportunity miss here...
They didnt want to spoil it and toys are a huge source of spoiling movies like these. Just like Qui Gonns death was spoiled by the release of the soundtrack prior to the movie release in 1999. Getting these into production with lead times and passing QA...May/June makes perfect sense unfortunately.

As someone who super loved and loves Mr. Toad and what it does, I defy you to find anyone who truly thinks Mr. Toad is an objectively superior attraction to Rise. Toad scores high on a conceptual level as a ride - higher than I think many people would think to give it credit for - and I think it's entertainment factor is still solid 60+ years on, but I also think that even those of us with great passion for it are reasonable enough to see the difference here.

Glory days would be living in a time where Walt Disney World can have both Mr. Toad AND Rise of the Resistance, which isn't actually asking all that much. But alas.

Thankfully Disneyland has done well enough by its attractions over the years and still has a Toad that's in bright and colorful shape, wild as ever and soon to be entertaining guests into 2020 . . . alongside Rise of the Resistance.

We can probably all agree that the less that's said about Birthdayland the better.
Forgive me but what was the problem???? Wasn't that the glory years for MK Entertainment?!?! When Birthdayland opened in 1988, MK had All America Parade, MSEP, America The Musical, Fantasy Follies: Totally Minnie, Disney World Is Your World and a basic Fantasy In The Sky. No Wishes/HEA tech back in 1988.

Let's not forget Best Of Disney and other things with the All American College Band!

What did you do to get two so early?

was here at 6am, got boarding group 18. Checked into ride about 6:45am, as soon as they scanned my band, went on app and joined another boarding party and got 28.

People who got here even earlier like 5am theoretically could nab a 3rd if they played their cards right.

So it pays to come early, like old school paper fast passes. Collect early and often when time frames are much shorter. Once 7am and after hits, more people are grabbing spots.

Plus my first ride today was an evac so we got paper FP to use 🤩
