Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo has been called "fast casual" by Disney Park Blogs. "Fast Casual" is a QS type along with Counter Service and Food Truck. Satuli Canteen and ABC Commissary are also called 'Fast Casual' by MDE. Considering Ronto seems to be serving only one dish, it might be just a counter service.

It seems like when this land opens, DHS could go from the bottom of people's ranking of the parks to an easy #1 or #2 right behind MK...

For a few years I suspect. Once the dust settles, and the hype dies down, and with the other parks getting new additions, I think DHS will eventually end up back as the #4 park down the line. At the end of the day...SWGE will only be one land, and if the rest of the park isn't up to par, people will come to SWGE, and then leave right away,

I actually think FOP will end up being better than either one of the rides coming to SWGE. Don't know why, just a gut feeling

Other sources have already said they'll be a bunch of non-audio animatronics with lots of troopers subtly moving, like the background presidents in HoP. So, he's probably only counting the fully articulated and maybe talking ones. Or, he's not counting all the troopers since the ride in the LMS vehicle hasn't started yet at that point when you see the troopers.

could they be relying on transparent screen projections too for scenes? Great way to handle those large scenes with lots of storm troopers trying to move fast, run, etc

I think the restaurant options have been answered, outside of the rides I’ve not had much interest in what’s inside the other buildings. Layout and architecture is more my thing than blue milk and buying an over inflated plastic stick. Nor do I own a plastic wand

These articles gave lengthy description of what seems to be every retail shop planned for the land, with two surprising omissions. Will Smuggler's Run and Rise of the Resistance not let out into gift shops?

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but some writers from io9 were able to visit, as well. They say the app is like a "third ride." Not only will there be small missions for you to complete (I'm thinking something like Agent P's World Showcase game), but there will also be a large, Ingress (Pokémon Go v1)-like game, where you join a side (First Order/Resistance) and battle for Batuu. Not exactly sure how it'll work, but it sounds like you'll be competing for land and buildings. The game will adapt based on how many people are in the park at a time, and they're planning to update and add missions to the app and the larger game over time to keep it fresh for repeat visitors. It sounds really cool!

Another interesting addition is it seems that the imagineers have designed the land in such a way that it will be easy to add characters or make changes as new movies come out.
