A couple of things....

Why wouldn’t Disney work with Coke to come up with some type of SW themed beverages? Because if all they have are blue and green milk, YIKES…. And hopefully water (fingers crossed). Dose SW have any other cannon beverages?

Lastly, we all know (hope) that GE is going to be AMAZING but really how amazing and immersive is it going to be…. When thousands upon thousands of people are visiting at one time, it a disaster waiting to happen. I mean really can you actually imagine the wait time to get in GE let alone actually ride something. HP land is pretty great but SW has a much greater fandom (my personal opinion) and larger fan base that are just clamoring for something like this. So, what actually do you think Disney has planned to control the park guests and wait times? I honestly cannot think of what they are going to do…
Google some of the horror stories about the early days of Disneyland. Opening day was a travesty, with many critics predicting Disney's certain failure! Inoperable rides and long lines were the norm. They couldn't even let everyone into the park as a result of an extraordinary amount of counterfeit tickets !

Maybe they will just sell empty SW themed bottles, then you can get your water from Moisture Vaporators that will be spread around the area? Now I don't know about milking those creatures to get your green milk but who knows?

But Budweiser exists in the universe of Pandora as the humans that invaded Pandora were from earth. Whereas Star Wars is in an alternative universe (or at least a long time ago in a galaxy far far away) that hasn't invented Budweiser or Coke.

Doubt it’s coincidence that the Baseline TapHouse opened up right next to SWL. Gives guests a place to get their alcohol without having to sell it in SWL.

So what exactly are they going to sell to drink at food carts in the middle of summer when the temps and humidity are both 90+?
I don't think is about selling the products, it's just about having a giant "Coke" logo plastered on the side of the soda carts.
^This. The rumored deal between Disney and Coke is for removal of branding, not the removal of their actual products.

Right, I think this has just escalated to an untrue point possibly. I never heard that there wouldn't be Coke at all in the land, just that there wouldn't be logos or branding anywhere.

The same is supposed to be true with the logos for the major credit card companies, but surely nobody thinks Disney won't be accepting cards in this land?

I bet your flock they sell limited specialty branded beer etc in SWL like they do in diagon ally and hogsmead. I also hope they go full blown no coke products. have coke create a few unique non branded stuff if you wish that's fine but create that uniqueness.

That is a no brainer... one would not be expecting to see any form of branding (advertising) for an earthly product in a galaxy far, far away. The land will be to big and to crowded to not have actual beverages available. I'm not sure why there is even a discussion about it. It is obvious that Coke will be available in the land, just no huge red circles. And probably no mouse ears either, but, you can bet that you will find Star War Characters with mouse ears someplace on property, just not there.

Exactly. I think people forget that the very first line of the Star Wars story is "A long time ago..."

Batuu and our Star Wars experience is not just taking place in a distant galaxy, it's thousand's of years in the past. If WDI is serious about this (and they appear to be), then you can't sell products that won't be invented for thousands of years and a few thousand lightyears away.

Of course, we all know that this retail/dining concept won't stick around longer than a year or two. Maybe it will last only a few months, especially in the brutal Orlando climate versus the idyllic Anaheim climate. But it's going to be funny to watch them at least attempt this level of theme and that gaggy overused word "immersive" when the place first opens.

Two quick notes:
First, to add to my argument that the backside of the Battle Escape queue building will be themed for guest use, here's a screenshot from a recent FreshBaked video:View attachment 277052
I've highlighted the steel that would not be seen from anywhere else but the backside. You can see that most of it actually hangs down off the framing and well above the building's roof. Again, to me, this looks like it will have some sort of rockwork applied to it.

Second, as impressive as the mountain range already is on both coasts, the largest peak on the Battle Escape side still has yet to be installed. You can see it on this model pic from the OC Register:

Here's a video taken yesterday of that exact same area at the Disneyland version. It's going to face Disneyland Drive, and you can see from the completed building above it that it likely won't be for visitor areas, but will be "backstage".

I can't 100% rule out it being for the hotel, but all indications are that it's for the land. The address is in the range of addresses on other permits for the project, the building number is consistent with other Galaxy's Edge permits and it's the same contractor.

Are there more buildings they haven’t started yet? Massive construction site. Wow.
