Hmmm....and which princess(es) would get the shaft (down-scaled area and /or orginal planned interaction limitations, er, or whatever goes down) and why?

Belle story time worked elsewhere in the park...maybe she doesn't need a cottage and her man (the Beast) is getting a castle or whatever and a table service and she could always be tied in there.

Aurora's movie came out many years ago and I guess we could say she holds the least notoriety and profitability compared to some of the other princesses. I love her though. Er,she does, doesn't she?

Cinderella has a castle already and a table service and appears there. Because of this perhaps not too many people would mind if her area got cut. Also, does anyone know what the plan was for the dancing? It has to be some type of dancing with the little girls in a group right? If it is intended to be singular that would be one tired CM in a blonde wig.

Ariel at least gets her ride and I"ll leave Tink for another time because that was addressed earlier.

Now that you mention Aurora, how long can she celebrate being 16??? I mean, the movie came out when?? And she is still 16??? I want her doctor!! LoL...

Hmmm...I would be quite interested to know that as well. Very intriguing.

Lee, just understand, I don't even know if the concept art, the one we were shown with Cinderella's rags turning into a gown, was EVER on the walls... I wasn't there personally to see it.. I just know I heard or read it somewhere... I may have to go back to some youtube video from Lou Mongello and see for myself if it was there or not..

Will it come down to which princesses are more popular or who already has or will have some type of representation in the park?

Oh, and speaking of Aurora. Yeah, I would think the 16 again...and again...and again thing would pose a problem. When you are a 6 year old girl and then 10 years later you celebrate Aurora's sweet 16 along with your own....:brick:

And what would happen with Aurora already happened to Mickey. I celebrated with Mickey in 1988 for his 60th at Mickey's Birthdayland, then it became Starland because the mouse can only be 60 once, than TT fair and now nothing.

The birthday storyline never works permanently and loses steam faster than some other park storyline angles.

Watched Lou's video from May 10, 2010...

Mermaid concept art on the wall.. Lou then shows the Beauty and the Beast concept art and description of the area, compelte with Belle's cottage and Beast's castle.... However, there did not seem to be any art of Cinderella or Aurora's cottages... On Jeff Lange's video from May 26, Belle's cottage is shown in the area that was being built... the rest of the wall is painted blue until Mermaid's section, which is brown... No princess cottages..

Maybe there never was artwork put up???

I as looking forward to the Chateau. Simply because her story could come full circle in one park. I understand the cut, but I wish it would be elsewhere. I wouldn't mind seeing the Dumbo plans and Pixie Hollow changed while leaving the other ideas intact.

There was interior art work at least.

The interoir of the Cinderella chateau was on the construction walls?? or are you referring to what we already saw in the presentation of the FLE???

Those same pictures we saw in the presentation are currently on the wall showing Belle's cottage, Beast's castle, and the Mermaid section, presumably in the areas these sections will be built... Absent are Cinderella's and Aurora''s cottages/chateaus... So, either they were never put up or were taken down, which i know someone claimed to be the case..

Hmmmm...er....

And if it happened to go this way, purely speculating now, I guess I can understand the rationale and their thinking perhaps.

If we are going to do Beauty and the Beast, let's do it right and really go for it. Very popular movie and much beloved characters.

The Beast gets his castle and character dining experience, Belle keeps her cottage and story interaction, Gaston gets his counter service. And I am sure the shop or shops will reflect this too near the area.

They decide that Cinderella has gotten her share already of MK and still has her castle dining experience and her fountain and really can appear there or anywhere.

Aurora and Sleeping Beauty representation gets cut? Perhaps because she may be the least popular of the princesses?

But then who or what classics get represented in the additions or changes?

Then again it is too early to jump the shark because it could just be that the artwork wasn't shown and what I proposed above would sound almost like Belle is getting her own land or some serious representation over the other ladies.

Would they go this route? And the princesses can all still do a M&G with the others in the area.

Why do I keep thinking that Cinderella may get a new dark ride? Or Beauty and the Beast getting a dark ride. All in all, there's some very exciting news.

Hope it isn't Aurora, it's such a small cottage anyway, and even without the planned party atmosphere, it'd be nice to see the 3 Fairies in some capacity.

Lol, BTW, does anyone remember all the talk of where the princesses will go? Where everyone was saying that it was in the Main Street Candy Shop? Well, I believe Jim Hill confirmed on the Magical Definition podcast this week that the princesses will be joining Mickey & Friends over at the Exposition Hall.

juan, can you confirm about the concept art on the constructions walls?? Was Cinderella's chateau ever represented in concept art on the constructions walls or no?
not a clue what was on originally

You know when it'll be announced!? Lol. Boy I can't wait until that day comes. I'd give it till before the end of the year.
Plans could change again.
No clue when announcement is, but maybe around time that the new stuff goes vertical (hopefully soon).
