Not as strong as the first two episodes due to all the backstory/exposition but still enjoyable - although sad to see how compelling Gaspard Ulliel was onscreen and recognize what a loss that was.

I did like that they are hinting at a 3rd personality, something we know that the character has in the comics.

So hopefully we'll get to see more of that personality soon.

I sure hope there is going to be more to this show's story than "here I will reveal to you something someone else knew, but not you". That's like the entire plot mover so far... reveal something that was already in place. Boring af after the 3-4th time.

Has to happen or there's no explanation for who asked the gal at the museum out for a steak dinner. Steven the vegan didn't do it. Marc is involved (granted their marital situation is rocky, but I don't get the sense he's looking to have a date with a random woman). Has to be Jake or at least some other alter.

While I don't disagree with the reasoning, I figured it was just Marc since we hadn't known he was married yet plus we did find out later he was trying to divorce Layla. But the theory it was Jake or another personality is also very plausible.

i thought it was pretty obvious that they were implying there was a third personality in this recent episode. I’d be pretty shocked if there doesn’t end up being one before the show ends.

I’m curious if he’ll have any powers or be able to “summon the suit” now and I’m assuming not. If so I hope it doesn’t last as I enjoy watching the fight scenes more when he’s in white.

Just watched and ok, this episode imo was really good. The ending scene with the stars, holy crap it was so cool. And inside the tomb and everything. Honestly just a huge fan of the visuals and music of this show. And anyone notice the end credits changing due to them being in egypt?

Regarding the story, even more questions now. There’s now a hint at third alter who is just as violent as Marc if not more, seeing how that whole scene played out 😮. And then later Harrow implies that Marc killed Laylas father?!?! What, am I crazy or did I read that scene right??! I mean it could be the third alter who killed him but Marc seems to be aware of the implications made by Harrow, meaning he would have to know about the 3rd alter if the 3rd one did kill the father, but he was also confused earlier at Steven saying he didn’t kill those people? Or maybe he just didn’t want to reveal it to Steven? Khoshu gets trapped and asks Steven to tell Marc to set him free but as soon as he gets trapped, both Steven and Marc go unconscious, how does that work, are they technically not his Avatar anymore and do they lose his powers? Also the fact that the last we see of Marc/Steven is them unconscious, I think it’s the perfect time to bring in the 3rd personality the next episode.

And then later at the end Harrow says stuff like, Khoshu my sin is that I did like the violence you made me do, your trauma caused me to be this way, and my victory will be thanks to you? What?!? What exactly did this man do as khoshus avatar? He talks about khoshu and the trauma he has caused him, but he is also the guy that says stuff like, we need to get rid of the weed before it kills the plant, so I guess he sees preemptive killing as less violent and traumatic as “justice that’s too late.” I’m just really curious about the Khoshu Avatar Harrow time period. So much to think about after this episode.

And RIP Gaspard Ulliel.

Yes it was obvious in Ep3 there is a 3rd personality. I replying to the other poster who was referring to in Ep1 when Steven/Marc/? asked out the museum girl, my thoughts when originally watching Ep1 was that it was Marc who asked her out but now maybe it could have been the 3rd personality (Jake?) who asked her out.

As for the suit, Jake was the personality that gathers intel not uses the suit in the comics (at least that I'm aware of). But this could be different since its not a 1-to-1 take on what was done in the comics.

And for now at least until Khonshu is released they don't have access to the suit.

Was it all a dream?
Or is this the Episode of someone clinging onto life?

Ep2-3 didn't do much for me, but Ep4 brought it back to being a good show.
Can't wait until next week.

To me, this one was just okay UNTIL it got to the asylum part. Now I'm more enthused again. Don't think the whole story is a dream/hallucination, but who knows?

Glad they finally pushed through the Marc/Layla's father issue. The Layla/Steven kiss was hilariously awkward.

And just another parks plug - if you can get to Avengers Campus and meet Mr. Knight and see Moon Knight atop Avengers HQ flinging his cape like all the drama in the world - DO IT! They are both so much fun! The Campus is re-energized now with all the characters roaming around, but due to Mr. Knight's popularity, he still has a traditional line (as does Iron Man - presumably due to the suit).

Felt the same way. It's now very clear why reviewers got to see Episodes 1-4; it's the WandaVision thing all over again where this set of episodes helps you gain your bearings over just what grounds exactly this show is going to cover story-wise.

I suspect that we're trapped in Marc's mind somehow based on what Arthur said ("We're not in a physical state, but a psychic one" or something to that effect). Don't know how Marc's expected to resurrect without Khonshu but I assume maybe Taweret at the end will help?

This is just my opinion...so...
I think this is a "limbo" of some kind for Avatars. I wonder if all the rest there are also avatars of "locked up" or placed in Stone Gods? The point being even if the Avatars are "gone" some of their power still exists in the Avatar. We know from earlier that Marc was killed and accepted Khonshu's power to regain life. The fun part of this is both Marc and Steven can interact together now....which could be a whole lot of fun in the future.

An interesting idea, however one problem..... You have non-Avatars there also like Layla, Donna (from the museum), Billy and Bobbi (the two fake cops), Crawley (gold statue guy), and others. So if it is "limbo" its not just for the Avatars. Also if it was "limbo" what was Layla doing there anyways as she wasn't dead or "locked up".

So that is why I think its more a dream, or trauma from being shot, ie all in Steven/Marc/Jake's mind and that this will end up causing Khonshu to be released as his Avatar is in trouble.
