Splash Mountain still on schedule?

My 6 year old rode EE 6 times in a row, and loves riding Rocking Roller Coaster. I would have to agree with the other posters that when u are going backwards on EE it is a bit more intense than the loops and such on Rocking Roller Coaster.

As for Mission Space, this last time I rode the orange side I did feel a bit sick afterwards, not sure why this has never happened to me before. Guess I am just getting old. lol

Yeah maybe. I'm more going with the fact of the test dummies. They don't put them in the logs after every refurb do they? It would seem as if something must of changed in the vehicle in order for them to test with dummies..

I think they needed to run dummies because they did rebuild some of the lift hills....new track = water filled dummies? I dunno. I can say that there are, without a doubt, no lap bars on any of the logs that they were running today.

Exactly what I was going to say. I heard from sources that work splash mountain that they were indeed PREPPING for lapbars this refurb. But NO LAPBARS will be the outcome of it. I'm sure they got the prototype in there to do some testing (What that pic being discussed is) and make any adjustments during the year and get the log fleet ready for the transition next year. The dummies are probably just testing the new lifts and such. I'm sure the logs will look great after the refurb regardless as others have already mentioned.

And you need to do the same with ToT and RnRC.

What's wrong with you?!?!?

You call yourself a fan!??!?

You should go to Universal!:drevil:

(and seriously, MS is the most intense attraction at WDW by far!)

No, I don't. I'm a poor Fanboy who hates D23, so I'm shunned from the community. I can't even buy my pins!:cry::goodnevil:eek:

And yeah, M:S is very intense. I think I'll stick to Green now that I've seen what Orange can do. Unless you want to see a protein spill, or something.

Like I said, I'll get to TOT and RNRC eventually...E:E is first, though.

Yep. Orange.

Never again, though, it took way too long to shake that dizzy feeling.

My daughter and I rode M:S for the first time last November (the TT lines were ridiculous). We rode the Green first, then the Orange. We weren't too bothered by either one. Felt the usual pull of the additional "Gs" in the Orange ride, but other than that didn't notice a great difference.......

Of course I had just spent an hour in the Rose and Crown, so.....

I was more intimidated by the cramped little capsule, to be honest.

Are there any insiders or CMs that can set up a Yeti A-Mode experience just for Evan? :ROFLOL: I think his first (and maybe only) ride should at least involve a working Yeti!

The only thing that makes Mission Space intense is the knowledge that it kills people.

Seriously, it's all about what gets to you. I've a decent case of acrophobia, and Soarin' was white-knuckle time for me, but I doubt most people would consider it a thrill ride.

Nope. He claims to have ridden the Big Boy version and I believe him!
Good job. I'm proud. :D

Well, Expedition Everest, ToT, RnRC, and probably Dinosaur have killed people too. And I'm sure the Mad Tea Party has had its fair share of protein spills.

new here

Hi everyone.. I'm new here, but I thought I would post and contribute a bit.. I found this site via __________________________.com

I was at MK last night, and they were testing SM... The logs are all brand new, new shape etc (the chassis inside the fiberglass could be the same, but the shells are DEFINATELY a new shape) and there are new hand-holds at the front of the logs... THERE ARE NO LAPBARS... At least, not on the 10-15 boats that cycled past when I was standing there....

Just FYI....... Great to be here, and I hope to post a lot more soon!

I agree, though...it's the knowlege...and the fact that they warn you 309283493284 times before you get on.
