Where you sit in the train seems to affect the intensity of E:E, too. I seem to remember thinking the back of the train provides a more intense ride during the backwards section.

They have an area where you can wait to ride in the front, but not in the back. However talking to EE cast members, they all seem to feel that the back is a better ride. There's a little bit of Thunder Mountain to it where it could be slow over the lift hills, but that's not really as much of a factor on Everest.

Another Walt Disney World News Website is reporting that there ARE Lapbars in the logs, like I was told. :lol:


I don't know what to think either. Maybe they are being phased in?

Did it reopen this weekend? Anyone with any shots of the logs with or without the lap bars? Bueller........Bueller..........
 
Here now and it is closed for technical difficulties. From
what I can see the boats are the same boats and were just repainted. I don't see any lapbars... I will ride later!
