In the words of my old Scoutmaster "Failure to plan is planning to fail" They didn't plan, they failed and looked like idiots today. But hey we got a dance routine out of it
I haven't been keeping up with this but any chance they will save the America Sings animatronics? They didn't have anything to do with Song of the South after all.
Let’s just put it this way if you preferred maelstrom over frozen your in for a big disappointmentI hope this attraction will be the best it can be obviously, but I now am thinking about the one in Tokyo. After Tiana, I'm not sure how long Tokyo will last snd there's a possibility of it being rethemed to zootopia or a different IP.
Who knows how this will end up in the US. I'm not sure who has insider info or whatever but if that's true, it's concerning.

This is probably more unlikely than a 5th park opening at WDW. Disney doesn’t even want to deal with the parks they have, they wouldn’t want to take on TDL and I’m sure OLC isn’t interested in saying goodbye to their parksBut if Disney should ever get complete control of the Tokyo Disneyland Resort like they did with Disneyland Paris
I don’t feel they rehashed the same stuff at all; it was new information. Not welcome information (for me, at least), but certainly new. I much preferred the 2020 concept art and the (probably baseless) lost-trumpet storyline.Apart from the model and the loose backstory, was anything even announced about this? Insanity that they rehashed the same stuff again.
It gives off a very strong vibe that they still don't know quite what they're doing with this ride. They don't even seem to have much to show in terms of concepts for how the show scenes will look.Apart from the model and the loose backstory, was anything even announced about this? I hope after this people still don't believe the lie that this was worked on YEARS ago. It looks like they barely started. It gives off a very strong vibe that they still don't know quite what they're doing with this ride. I get that they are showing the art by Sharika Mahdi to give a sense of how they are working with people from New Orleans to bring authenticity to the attraction, but it doesn't give any sense of how the ride will look and it's really beginning to seem as if they are tying themselves in nots trying to create something authentic and that can't possibly offend anyone (which in itself isn't a bad goal) and losing sight of the need to create a fun ride.
I feel like the display had new information, but the presentation didn't beyond confirming that the plot line involved finding a new ingredient. It's even unclear whether the songs performed at D23 will actually be in the ride and/or if there are new songs.I don’t feel they rehashed the same stuff at all; it was new information. Watch it be something like love and we're told how it's been inside of us the whole timelooking for a missing ingredient to prepare a meal for a party. And, well, how thrilling does that sound?
Did they back peddle though? Ever since the announcement they had a blurb about the retheme on the parks websites. If they really wanted everyone to forget the best thing to do would have to removed that blurb from the website after the normal maintenance was done. Or tell Seacreast to not mention anything about the ride during his interview.Because like I said… They announced it way too early… Then backpedaled and hope that everyone would forget about it… But they didn’t… So now they’re in the position that they are…
Sorry, I misunderstood—I thought the post was referring to the information we got a few days ago (when the model and new concept art were unveiled). I haven’t yet caught up with what happened during the presentation.I feel like the display had new information, but the presentation didn't beyond confirming that the plot line involved finding a new ingredient. Honestly, nothing beyond the confirmation that she's searching for a missing ingredient during the ride.Sorry, I misunderstood—I thought the post was referring to the information we got a few days ago (when the model and new concept art was unveiled). You can’t show what you don’t have…By the way, they had years to prepare to show. I really can't believe we didn't even see an animatronic or no closing date.
So, a Zelda side-questHonestly, nothing beyond the confirmation that she's searching for a missing ingredient during the ride.
