I don't think there are any major American Companies that you could make that type of film about. All companies have good and bad people in them. The key is strong leadership, Bob Iger and most of the higher-ups seems content to let the various divisions run themselves (for better or worse) thus you have the current mess. You can't have the CEO micro-manage but strong leadership and vision is key rather than the current situation with the various divisions constantly putting out inconsistent information and inconsistent quality while Iger mindlessly adds new elements to an empire that can barely manage it's foundations and collects the big bonuses.

I would much rather have a hands-on CEO than a Teflon manager like Disney has now.

Yes, it could (unless you reside in delusionland and believe our economy is doing great!)
Whereas in 07 to 09, many ARM mortgages readjusted resulting in increased monthly liability payments. The increase in liability put many personal balance sheets into the red. Now we are faced with new governmental mandates which are resulting in increased costs. Both private and public entities are responding by reducing work hours and elimination of shift premiums. These changes result in a reduction of asset payments. The reduction in assets will have the same effect as the increase in liability that occurred in 07 to 09.

From WDW perspective, they may need to lower prices to get feet in the door. Combine this with increased COGS, their margin is going to to take a hit from both sides.

On the bright side, we may have free DDP for years to come.

So what. Just because he got out of a car means he should've been beaten to death? Never should've been brought to trial, only reason why is because the media turned it into a witch hunt.

BS. If you go looking for trouble, you shouldn't be surprised to find it. And he wasn't beaten to death, he took out his God-given weapon and blew a young man's life away when all he had to do is sit his in his vehicle. There was no witch hunt. That's what we're trying to do with Edward Snowden because it suits the military industrial complex and Big Business which runs this banana republic we all live in.

"~Change is coming. BIG, SPIRITED change!~"

Following 74's teaser, I'm beginning to think that BIG, SPIRITED change is never going to come to Orlando.

Spirit I love your posts,
Yes, when the police told you to stay in your car and you decided confrontation and doing the exact opposite of what the authorities told you was the way to go.

Well it was the non emergency number and come on spirit. Did you watch him the trial? The defense was the council that put on the case not the state.

Since this is a spirited thread and mostly anything goes. I posted the details about Cabana Bay Resort in the Universal thread.

It's going to be even more of a game changer than I originally thought.
Where is the Uni thread?

I think Spirit shares the same concern as I about "Stand Your Ground" laws applying to individuals who willfully insert themselves into dangerous situations. There are many ways to de-escalate conflict and avoid violent confrontation. In all honesty, I don't think either party in the Zimmerman case did what was needed to avoid violent conflict, but unfortunately, we have a law on the books that allows legalized manslaughter when such confrontations arise. There is something wrong with this. It is one thing to defend yourself. It is another thing to hunt and provoke someone into conflict and then attempt to defend yourself.
