Too bad Disney didn't invite

That would have been a worthy video to watch... Zach mocks the blogger brigade

I thought the red head was Zach. :)

No, it can't. Not with a straight face, anyway.
Mermaid is still the best ride in Fantasyland. The AA's are better than what's in ET as well. The biggest advantage that ET has over Mermaid is that ET is telling a new story as opposed to a summary of the movie.

She is interspersed in this video (it's good at the 7:20 mark)...which is, in and of itself comical for many reasons. Enjoy!

The Motorola brick phone and the Polaroid camera were perfect. I noticed that many of the people in attendance were very overweight and out of shape. These people need to spend more time exercising and less time chowing down on alcoholic beverages and desserts. It made me uncomfortable to look at these folks.

The E.T. world aspect I'll agree with you, but not the ride over all. The actual ride through the film is great. The police car, the flashlights and voices, not to mention the queue, incredible. And E.T. saying your name still makes me smile. It's still one of the best dark rides I've ever been on.

crazy talk

Not really:

- Pooh is a watered down version of its Tokyo counterpart
- Pan is as old as dirt and is also covered in it (Paris and California are much better)
- Philharmagic isn't a "ride", and neither is Enchanted Tales or Fairytale Hall
- three are midway attractions
- the mine train isn't done yet
- the Goofy coaster is over before it even starts
- depending upon your opinion, Small World is either grating or charming
- Snow White, Toad, 20K, the skyway etc. are all long gone

At this point in time, I'd rank it #2, but if someone isn't crazy about Small World I could see why Mermaid would top their list.

But E.T. is better than Mermaid.

Looks like Pirates 5 will be delayed till at least 2016.
And Universal meanwhile has dated Jurassic Park 4 for June 12th of 2015 and retitled it "Jurassic World", a title which makes me wonder if instead of a rebuilt Isla Nublar like that leaked plot summary, InGen was stupid enough to build their new dinosaur park in Orlando.

Um, Don Shula, Miami Dolphins head coach from 1970-95, had 6 Super Bowl appearances, head coach of only NFL team to ever have a perfect season....football shaped menus.

I Know Don Shula is one of the greatest coaches EVER however I can see a football SHAPED menu, just not an actual FOOTBALL!!! at least that was the menu last time I was at Shula's in Chicago. It's a bit unwieldy at tableside much less so on the gridiron.

I can't decide what's better: Mya Space's derisive reference to the bloggers as "very influential and very important people" who "everybody loves and respects" or the polite CMs who have clearly decided to grit their teeth and get through the night with these obnoxious people. (You can imagine those CMs at the beginning of the video counting the hours down: Just three more hours and my shift is over...)

The nicest way I can put it? It seems like a room filled with dozens of cases of arrested development.

Some other posters were suggesting that Disney should have selected random families from the parks instead of the blogger brigade.

Personally, I wish they had chosen front-line CMs! I know, radical idea, right? They should just be happy they still get their Main Gates, even if it's more hassle to use them now. It's amazing how little Disney does for the cast and how much they do for these "personalities".

It sorta tells you everything you need to know about the company in 2013.

I agree about Mermaid being the best Fantasyland dark ride. I was astonished on my last ride on Pooh, and not in a good way. The whole thing was just too short and kind of sad. I'm not a Small World fan, and Pan is just in bad condition. All of the queues and facade work of the Fantasyland dark rides are where dreams go to die... Except for Mermaid.

I still prefer E.T. over Mermaid. The part where you fly over the city to John William's score is very moving and completely "epic". The forest scenes and the queue are also well done, except for the police "animatronics".
