Okay, okay. I can't promise I'll sit through the entire thing, but I'll order it from Netflix.

I rarely say this around here...I got all beat up the one time I admitted it...but I don't (aside from TLM, BatB, Lion King and parts of Aladdin) generally like the kid movies. This is certainly an inability of mine to appreciate them!! The fact that I am flawed does not in any way mean other people shouldn't love them!!!

But I'll turn it on. You're not the first to say it was good.

It really is a good film - you should also give "How to Train Your Dragon" a chance as well...

The food of Fast Food Boulevard is items seen on and derived from the television show. The food of Gaston's Tavern is related to the film how? Where were the cinnamon rolls and Cars Land drinks in Beauty and the Beast?
LMAO. Was Lafou's Brew even in the movie?

How to Train Your Dragon is Dreamworks best movie behind Shrek 2 in my opinion! Can't wait for the sequel. As for Despicable Me, I think it's awful. The first one was unoriginal with a recycled story that I've seen a million times and I didn't even chuckle once while watching it

It really is - hopefully Universal can come to an agreement with DreamWorks Animation and create a ride based on it for the new Kidzone, or elsewhere...
It is honestly better than most Pixar movies in my opinion, and is in the same league as some of Pixar's greatest.

New Fantasyland>Springfield. It will be a whole lot better once the SDMT opens up. I'd take a highly themed coaster over a spinner. I give Universal credit for taking a dead area in the park and making it a area worth spending time at

I like the majority of Disney movies. Not every movie is perfect but I'm allowed to dislike a film? I didn't laugh once and I didn't find any of the characters likable

I'm not scolding you for disliking Despicable Me. I was asking you an honest question, based on why you don't like Despicable Me. In your opinion, it was an unoriginal, recycled story. Most of Disney's cartoons fit that, so I assumed you didn't like most of them. I was asking to see if I was correct or not.

Most of disneys cartoons are recycled stories. I just think DM's is just done too much

Based on info provided in a PM, it appears Thomas is unavailable to me as a theme park attraction. It's for the best since I don't particularly care for the show. It drove me crazy when my own son was little.

I did like Despicable Me (original). Sounds like I have to check out DM2.

I agree that I like New Fantasyland better than Springfield, but it's unfair to compare Twirl 'n' Hurl to SDMT. I do think Springfield will look better when the vegetation fills in. I do like Springfield a lot though.

Well technically speaking, it is a little unfair to compare them as a whole anyways. Two different concepts, two different approaches, two different timelines, size, etc. Springfield is more of a mini-land.

Those two things aren't equals.

Springfield is not a big, major thing. It's a little area in the park that got some extra stuff.

If you want to compare the FLE to something at Uni (though we still have to wait for Disney to finish the FLE, lol), you have to compare it to the Harry Potter area.
