Should be interesting to see how much of a post-Avengers boost Thor and Captain America get, especially since Cap didn't really make that much money worldwide:

That foreign total's worse than Prince of Persia and John Carter o_O, but I guess it's logically tough to sell Captain America outside of the US.
Will be very interested to see how those do too. I think Thor: The Dark World will have a better chance of grossing more than Captain America largely for the same reason you listed. But I'm hoping both will get a post-Avengers bump. It's hard to hate the Cap ;) I didn't think the new Thor trailer looked half bad either.

Iron Man 3 is raking in the dough...but we will see for how long. It sure wasn't that much of a re-watchable movie. It highly disappointed me.
Thor doesn't look much better.

I'm betting Cap and Supes will be the next two big breadwinners in the next couple of years.

We are more open minded. I stood in line for 36 hours to see Lieutenant Guetemala. Plus, on DVD I own Petty Officer Scotland, Admiral Austria (I'm a sucker for alliteration), and Corporal Argentina. (edit: I'll be updating those oldies to Blu-Ray soon).

Captain Corea will smite the of all your feeble heroes. Your capitalist corruption has made you weak! Prepare for humiliation, puny American.

If Man of Steel is anything less than the best movie of the summer I'll be disappointed. I really want to see a Justice League franchise to compete with Avengers.
I never thought the Justice League works as well. I'm one of those people who has a hard time understanding a world with Superman that needs Batman, much less Aquaman. That's sort of what I disliked about Iron Man 3. *POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD* The whole army of Iron Man suits just seemed ridiculous to me, as why do you need the Avengers when there could just be a massive, autonomous army of Iron Man suits.

Because it's funnier when the hulk punches Thor after downing the armor plated flying worm than one ironbot punching another?

That's strange to me. The Justice League is a team...surely the Miami Heat wouldn't be as successful if they only played LeBron, even though he's the best player right now. Just because Supes is the strongest, doesn't mean he ca go it alone all the time. And let's be fair, Wonder Woman and Aquaman aren't as strong as Superman, but they're pretty strong. Think of them like Wade and Bosh.
