Ok, Better question for you, "If this was your first time visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, walking into the gates of Epcot for the first time, would you be amazed to see a giant hole in the symbol of the famous park? Would that excite you about the rest of the park?"
Once again, your logic is flawed. At what point are you going to draw the line of acceptable construction and unacceptable construction? If work needs to be done to improve the parks to increase longevity and continue to succeed, choices have to be made.
But to answer your question. No it wouldn't bother me. I have the ability to look at things outside of the instant and understand that everything is not about me and my enjoyment only.
