I still want to see a color transition on this...Or at least utilize it for projection shows just not for "Special Event" Purposes...

Nope. Even BGM is outsourced now (Wonders was the first too). SSE94 was the first pavilion to be moved out of Central..Now that I think about it, does central actually control any of the pavilions anymore? I know they still control BGM there but each pavilion has changed radically since they were all originally controlled from there

It’s become a real hotch potch of what it controls now hasn’t it. A good example was Under New Management. DACS still controlled the legacy parts of the show. A new local system controlled all the new parts. As of a few years ago MK DACS was still controlling lots of random things, from theater doors to BGM for all of the MK area resorts.

Well it would be difficult, but surprisingly given the age of the system, DACS is and always has been digital - just probably not in the way that we'd think of GUI terminals and controls for systems today. It stands for Digital Animation Control System.I cant imagine how insanely difficult it was/is to mesh together 50+ year old analog technology with modern digital systems...

Exactly. So, if I understand this correctly... it makes their fingers move?
No, that's the Digit Animation Control System that does that! So, if I understand this correctly... it makes their fingers move?
No it wasn't. All EPCOT love letters must conclude with A Whole New World. It was an unapologetic love letter to EPCOT Center.
Too bad the Bobs didn't watch it before they green-lit what's happening to the park.
It’s a new scrimMammoth scene is lookin lit yall. Literally. Best it's looked in a long time.
And don't quote me, but it almost looks like there's a new screen further forward? Or maybe it just looked different because I could see it!
More lit than the earth projection on torch mode ?![]()
It's beautiful.It’s a new scrim
Hallo flipping ula. It’s only taken two years.Mammoth scene is lookin lit yall.
I can only assume the scene structure will carry on through the refurb... there's no way they'd put it off this long only to demo it. Then again, dumber things have happened.Hallo flipping ula. It’s only taken two years.
Like UoE apparently getting new carpeting in one of the theaters a few months before it closed?I can only assume the scene structure will carry on through the refurb... there's no way they'd put it off this long only to demo it. Then again, dumber things have happened.
