I can only assume the scene structure will carry on through the refurb... there's no way they'd put it off this long only to demo it. Then again, dumber things have happened.

seems like such a waste of money,, why cant there be better cohesion sync with other departments like that..especially since they are always looking to cut back on expenses. Just speaking out loud not at you lol but you would think chapek wouldn't like that one bit...thats just office politics I guess.

Funny thing is when I went to check the list myself, I skipped over FAM and wondered why I didn't have it there. Only when about to cut-and-quote did I see it.

I’m pretty sure there was planning. You can see it in the last video Walt made before he died. Model buildings and everything. Part of that model is on the Peoplmover. That feels like more than blue sky to me.

According to the cast member stationed outside Spaceship Earth, the ride will go down for it's refurbishment when Guardians opens, and the only thing that is changing is the Project Tomorrow games are being replaced with new ones.
