Space Mountain/Tomorrowland Transit Authority update...

Yep, as far as I know. WALL-E's BnL was looked at for a bit but didn't get too far.

They have concept art, I am sure...We don't.

Haha. Ok. Well let's hope they do something with that land for the better. I am growing quite weary of the old '94 rocks and the retro-futuristic theme. I think it would be great if they turn it into maybe a Space Port type of thing or just something to fix up the land so everything meshes together in a seemless environment.

Which they could do very nicely with the existing New TL environment. ;)

Honestly, I would not mind if they went back to a TL71 feel but with more of a Sci Fi look.

What's outdated 10 years ago, could be a new retro theme for us...and be very in. :D

True very true. Tomorrowland is a really complicated land which definitely needs some TLC from WDI. I am hoping they will do this once they are finished up with the DLR and start working on WDW.

It sold SM Merch at one time!? Wow....What?
I`ve got a few T Shirts over the years, and in 2001 stupidly didn`t buy a great orange, black and grey jacket with breast and back logo.

I think they should just save their money and keep the Buck Rogers look. It still looks really cool and accomplishes its task. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

It is breaking, though. :( Lot of Rust....And the back part of the land has never matched the first.

I would like to see them fix THAT, though. Make it more cohesive.

So I was able to ride the transit at Houston IAH airport and it's crazy to see a TTA type system not in Tomorrowland!

It works great and it shows how forward thinking WED/WDI was when they created the TTA. Its disappointing not to see the application anywhere else.

WEDWay, please! However I`m pretty sure the Houston WEDway was removed about a decade ago and replaced with a Bombadier Peoplemover like at MCO.

Fountain is a plus.
I actually don't mind them recycling the orange space mountain font as I really like that. The green is nice.

About everything else...
What were they thinking when they cut so much stuff out of the refurb?!?
It will just be as outdated, if not more, in 5 more years down the road.

But hopefully, that's when we'll get a large scale Tomorrowland refurb like Fantasyland is getting.
