I'm excited to see what Space Mountain will look like! :) Did they fix the seats on the ride? Or is it the same as before?

It better be open by February 2010!!!

So basically the ride has been closed for about 5 months, longer than it has left before its schedule to open and they appear to just be starting on the post show and que area? This is according to what was posted in another thread, but if they plan on overhauling all of that, does this mean space mt. wont be open in Nov.?

Why the heck does it matter when you express it? It's not like a few people expressing it online in April or May is going to do anything about it. If anything, the majority of guests (if they are going to express it, so I don't mean the majority, I mean the 'dissatisfied minority') are going to express their displeasure when it reopens. I guess I fail to see why it matters when you indicate dissatisfaction with the refurbishment. It would probably be most logical to do so when you actually experience it and it fails to meet your expectations. Most people now are saying, "I will be disappointed if." Since none of us truly know how the attraction experience will make us feel until we actually experience it, it's premature to complain now where it matters--directly to Disney.

Exactly, the majority of people are going to be happy with it. Because they are either first timers, or not as obsessed as we are. I personally love SM even with its faults, so I might be biased. However, I don't think it bothers Disney that much if a handful of Disney-fanatics, who analyze everything they do, express their displeasure. Is this right? No. Does Disney think they should spend the extra dollars to please the fanatics? Of course not. I know this is cliche but it is the way it is.

Disney dont give a toss about the guests its their money they care about just like every other company. Only difference is that Disney has gotten away with a lot more than other outfits because of nostalgic brand loyalty.

Very true, but all the nickel and diming is becoming VERY apparent.

It used to be a lot classier. Or course there was N&D-ing back then, too ( Tic Books!) but it's just more apparent, now...IMHO.

My comments on reflection were a bit harshly worded.

What I meant was Disney are a company like any other out to amke money, and shouldnt be attacked just for that. However IMHO, they were / are ???is a premium brand, but at times what they offer is realy just like a garagre selling a Hyundai, but with a glued on BMW badge.

The pricing of this latest tour and the two credits for Candlelight Processional spring to mind. And Im still falling for it......damn you all to hell

Agreed. You put the Disney on anything and people will buy it in a split second just for the fact that its name is on the tag. I dont think Disney has ever gave a flip about their guests, thats why the tickets are overpriced and drinks cost $4.00. :brick::brick:
