I don't know where I read/heard this but with regards to the blinking eye wallpaper, I heard that Imagineers basically came across a roll of the old wallpaper and thought "what can we do with this", and they came up with the blinking eyes. Not sure if anyone can confirm this....

Having recently been evacuated following a breakdown on this attraction, I can assure you that the blinking eye wallpaper at the top of the stairs is not wallpaper at all. It's not even a flat surface.

We were in the attic when it failed and they evac'd us back toward the entrance with all of the work lights on throughout the attraction. It was quite cool to see the details of how some of the effects work especially the Seance room.

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but since when has November been winter? :veryconfu Doesn't the season "winter" officially start late December, like just before Christmas? Soooooooooo... either the people at Disney don't know their seasons, or they are really being optimistic in their reopening projection. Either way, it doesn't make a lot of sense here...

I thought it started December 21st?

Either way maybe they are just covering their butts in case it doesn't open on time?

If they said fall I think people would assume September/October MAYBE November (but probably not Thanksgivingish). You say winter and I assume Dec/Jan/Feb. Better to say winter on a sign then summer on that "tween" month I think.

Plus, if it is delayed, then you're covered.

It's almost like they anticipate it...:drevil:

I know...

I wouldn't mind, especially if it results in a higher quality attraction.

Where can you hear that, BTW? By the walls? Or all over?
The closer to the center of the room the better. Wait for other guests to stampede to leave.

The best place is actually at floor level... but I wouldn`t condone lying down. Would I?

The gargoyles are cool, but...I would pay some decent money to get to experience the "rapid unstretch effect."
Genius....
