Where can you hear that, BTW? By the walls? Or all over?

As you may or may not know, the new sound system in the stretch room uses a technique that creates 3 dimensional sound. When standing in the room you hear sound move around you in a much more profound way than normal stereo can achieve.

Currently, once the doors open and you are ushered out of the room, if you hang back you will hear whispering voices (the gargoyles) tell you to "stay together" & "move along", or something to those effects.

It is cool and creepy, from what I've read they were going to make more use of the 3D sound but decided it was distracting and didn't add to the story. From what I have read in trade journals, the capabilities of 3D sound are stunning. From only two speakers they can make it sound like a bee is circling your head.

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but since when has November been winter? :veryconfu Doesn't the season "winter" officially start late December, like just before Christmas? Soooooooooo... either the people at Disney don't know their seasons, or they are really being optimistic in their reopening projection. Either way, it doesn't make a lot of sense here...

Yes, Winter technically starts Dec. 1st.
Nope...Dec. 21st. The Solstice.

At this point, I'd rather them pad the opening date a bit. Finish the attraction before fully opening it! SM isn't CBJ where they can open early (and terribly) only to be told to go back and do it the right way. Here's hoping it opens by 2010 and it's actually done! :D
