Now that the screens are in place maybe they can finally get something done in the TTA pass through Space Mountain.

The should have used a blue screen instead of a green screen IMO. A little bit darker (though I know it needs to be lit up) would also be nice. I like the star projection behind the screens.

Well, hey! They can start selling chroma key green shirts in the gift shop, priced extra high with the label "exclusive 'make your head float in Space Mountain' effect activator shirts'". ;)

And then auction off those triangles at Epcot with the words, "Take a Legacy"...

After watching the video clip, I have one comment...
They didn't mirror-image the video feeds like the old cameras used to.

On the previous cameras, the image was flipped so that the image of you in the monitors traveled in the same direction you were, making the monitors act like mirrors.

Now, they act like a regular old camera, so the image that you see is simply from the viewpoint of where the camera is mounted, with people moving from left to right.

Hmm, I didn't even think about that, but that is pretty dumb.

Also, with today's TV technology, why didn't they use bigger screens?

If I knew it was brand new I woulda taken a picture on Saturday.

Would be cool if they could figure out a way for my kid to see himself on it without us having to pick him up. Of course, then we'd see the rest of our tummies on the screen.

Wonder why they had us zip past the interactive games just to get to the platform and wind around in misery up for 15 minutes there instead of back where the fun was?

Why didn't they replace the entire track?

Why didn't they add a soundtrack?

Why didn't they replace the reentry tunnel?

Why didn't they finish the loading area?

It's all connected. Guess.

I do concede that the screens would have been the least expensive upgrade. But it's still money.

They could have done all of that and more and people still would have complained. "Oh the one in Disneyland is better because_________." Well if thats how you fell, go there.

Me, Im glad they did something to the post show. I knew that blue wall was temporary, and like what they did with whats there now. Just another thing to add to make the already superior space mt. even better.:sohappy::cool:

I don't agree with sticking one's head in the sand and pretending problems don't exist. That's not being optimistic; it's being naive and foolish.

However, even though DL's Space Mt. has better maintenance, lighting, and special effects, plus an onboard soundtrack and extensive outdoor lighting package, WDW's definitely has a better queue and track layout.

Well its a preference. If you prefer DL's space over WDW's than thats you. I'm not sticking my head anywhere. I heard all the hoopla about how great DL's space was and came off thinking wth. So I prefer WDW's and will agree they could have done more, but am content with whats there now. Besides, there are a handful of other places in WDW that deserve complaints.
