I noticed the darkness varying in the times I've ridden it, too. Like it's still being tampered with. A few weeks ago I rode it, came back two days later and it was much darker inside than before.

This is great DIsney just can't even do a simple refurb right anymore. I think this is a cool effect but they couldn't of had it ready when the ride reopened.

I don't get it?? Seeing how they did jack to the ride they couldn't have had this working??????

If they can get this working, why not in SSE, too? It's much of the same, isn't it?!

Why do the Disney MK calendars still show that SM is down for refurb until Feb 27? Sounds like it's up and running, and the reburb is now truly "completed". Am I missing something?

As I sit here on Main Street waiting for Spectromagic, I can say the effect is very well executed - no "outlines" around you as you're on screen, if that makes any sense. The screens are very nice, possibly flat screen, could be custom made monitors.

it's still cool how the concept of seeing yourself on TV from the time RCA sponsored the ride back in 1975 to today has existed in some shape or form for 35 years now :cool:

BTW, triangles are taking over WDW as we speak.

Only triangles I like are on imagination. The ones on SSE are :hurl:.
The ones in SM are okkkkk....
