Soarin' Expansion and new Soarin' Around the World film

Been thinking about this a lot lately. What are the odds of the new Soarin having different versions a la Star Tours? It would be cool to have 5 or 6 different films that are continuous with no cuts that are randomly chosen every time you ride. Maybe a long shot but I know a lot of people who really dislike the jump cuts.

It is a good idea, but soarin, doesn't need repeat riders the lines are always long. Now once frozen opens they might need to do something like that to help that crowd. Epcot needs more attractions,

Took the Behind the Seeds tour a few days ago and you can see te progress much better from there. I didn't take any pictures (Sorry!) but if anyone is taking this tour, be sure to snag a picture before you head into the green house.

I went to nearmap and got a screenshot of the expansion in satellite view. This was captured on August 5, 2015.

I find it interesting the 3rd theater is built off center from the 2 original theaters. Maybe they did it because of the existing road or they might add a 4th theater in a very distant future. Who knows... or I'm just OCD haha

The road behind it might be a clue as well as it might be easier to line up the entry point and the exit if the theater were over to one side.

I was originally expecting them to build the new theater in the same orientation as the old one so they could add a 4th and they would be an exact copy of each other.

Well this setup makes sense. The bottom of the theater lines up with the existing queue and will be used for load. The top will unload into the exit hallway in the upper right. It would be very challenging to add a fourth theater without a new queue altogether.

I really don't see them closing Soarin' for 6 months. They're rumored to be waiting until Avatar opens before closing Everest and the same logic would prevent them for closing Soarin' for that long.
