An ear of corn that is cooked in some way (steamed, boiled, grilled, etc.) and eaten right off the cob.

You're welcome. I prefer to make my "corn on the cob" on the grill. I remove the husks and silks, wash then rub the ear with butter. After rolling in aluminium foil I "bake" them on a covered grill for about 15 minutes.:slurp:

Hula Chicken Thighs, coconut lime rice, and summery salad (my name for the salad......jicama, pineapple, orange pepper, onion, edaname is a delightful lime vinaigrette )

Wow what a fab thread, I've never seen it before.

All your replies make our scrambled egg on toast seem very boring....but I had to do something quick as my son was going to football!!

However you've now inspired me and I shall try to do something a little more exciting tomorrow......maybe scrambled egg with cheese on toast!:lol:

Heading for the great escape.
Made a chiecken and mushroom ruby last night had it with Bombay potatoes, tonight will be penne arrabiata, followed by pizza & a green salad.

Subway in an hour for lunch :slurp:
