Since tomorrow is a July 4th BBQ with the family and we are all going to seriously over-do it.....we're having salad and fruit

(VEGGIE VEGGIE FRUIT FRUIT) tonight.

I'm making pretzel-fudge-pecan mini desserts for tomorrow, though. I hope I don't eat too many of them tonight....:lookaroun

An ear of corn that is cooked in some way (steamed, boiled, grilled, etc.) and eaten right off the cob.

Oh!! Cob is the central part of the corn, right? So... corn on the cob is just... regular boiled corn here... I guess...
Thanks for the help!!!
You're welcome. I prefer to make my "corn on the cob" on the grill. I remove the husks and silks, wash then rub the ear with butter. After rolling in aluminium foil I "bake" them on a covered grill for about 15 minutes.:slurp:

It's very common down here at this time of the year. There are folk parties here in the winter (June/July) and they boil the corn in water with some butter... People say it tastes good. (I don't like corn, but it smells good, anyway...)

I like my corn on the grill too. I do it the same way only I add a little minced garlic to it. :)
Today is leftovers from the 4th. BBQ Ribs, sliced grilled potatoes & baked beans & Apple Crisp.
