I guess tonight will be pasta with a pesto sauce since I have basil coming out of my ears! I think I planted a little too much. Anyone tried canning pesto sauce? I hate to see it go to waste or I guess I could dry it. :shrug:

They sell it jarred at the grocery, I don't see why it wouldnt' work :shrug: You could look up a recipe, see what can be done

I saw a recipe for a "fresh herb sauce" that was made with parsley, basil, a little mint and shallots and put in a food processor with a couple Ts of water and lemon juice and processed until herbs were finely minced then a coulpe Ts olive oil added slowly. Anyway, it said that the sauce could be frozen in ice cube trays then transferred to a zip-top bag. I might have to try it.

I have searched, and after one MAJOR shopping trip to buy all those ingredients (stuff which I'll likely never use again ) and a batch of chicken the kids wouldn't eat, it's just easier to go and get the stuff from Chang's. I can't put my finger on what was not to my liking for my at home version, but I was sorely disappointed
