Yea I wish they could do a form of Aquatopia with a weather theme as well, then move Storm Struck from innoventions and we got a new pavillion.

Nooo....:fork::fork: Have to leave that intact so they can build a direct clone of DisneySea as the 5th gate.:D:lookaroun

Now, realistically... I agree.

Why not add my two cents to the fray :)

In my opinion, I like this move.

To me, the WS is about the countries and their history and culture.

Donald et al in Mexico - Not OK

Aladdan in Morocco - Not OK

Mulan in China - Not OK

Princess in Norway - Not OK

Snow White in Germany - Thats OK. The story is a very old classic fairy tale from Germany, long before Disney got ahold of it

Remy in France - Not OK - while I do think the Remy anamatronic is uber cool, and it does fit in France, it does not fit in the World Showcasw France.

Pooh in UK - Classic childrens tale by a UK author it fits. Mary Poppins, a modern classic, but still a classic, so I give it an OK.

As far as Future world, that lost its focus ages ago. Nemo was not needed at Living Seas, and now I am going to drop the bomb of all bombs, Figment was not really needed at the Imagination Institute. You can use your imagination without some cartoon character that someone ELSE thought up for you.

To refute your Figment statement...Didn't they try that already?;) From 2000-2001?:lookaroun

Why is Mulan in China bad? That's an ancient Chinese legend and fits with it's country.

Your right, maybe I bump her up to the same level as Mary Poppins in UK

The Disney Mulan is based on the poem. The poem is pretty sketchy, and Disney took quite a lot of creative license in creating the character. But, it IS based on a part of China's heritage, so it can stay. Maybe she could have a meet n' greet area that has exhibits that educate about the original poem. Now that would be an excellent addition.
