I actually might accept this intergration if it were set in FW and stayed away from WS.
Really? You have a problem with a country-hopping character appearing in an attraction in which you hop from country to country?

Maybe, they can add a Stitch living character initiative where he can educate us on where the stories come from.

I love seeing the Epcot fanboy logic fail miserably... even with a 6 story plunge. Such drama.
I think it was the mid 80's while Epcot still had the name of EPCOT Center that there appeared a show full of characters above the lake. The characters were on boats and hand gliders, I believe. (Anyone have a link to video?) So much for that much trumpeted "non-character" spirit of EPCOT Center of the 80's.
Anyway, I guess that probably happened while most of the epcot fanboys around here were still in diapers.
In other words Figment, et al... MISION: Failed
I guess I shouldn't seeing how the world says I shouldn't.
Tooth Follies?:lookaroun:lol:
It was in the early 90's, long after they gave up on the anti character crusade. Same with Splashtacular.wannabe@dis said:I love seeing the Epcot fanboy logic fail miserably... even with a 6 story plunge. Such drama.

Yes, like swine flu! :lookaroun
Guy's' I love Epcot as much as you do' but over-reacting over a Character meet& Greet.l This is getting ridiculous.
Who gave up the crusade? Maybe it more of a crusade for Disney to entice guests to enjoy the park that had a really bad reputation of being BORING.It was in the early 90's, long after they gave up on the anti character crusade. Same with Splashtacular.
Interesting show, was entertaining, and only sorta clashed.
If that's the extent of the characters, I don't mind. Same with the meet and greets.
No, fanboys never overreact! They defend! :lookaroun

Just found a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFIN0VJknzo) and the show was introduced as "EPCOT Center proudly presents Surprise in the Skies." How can they be proud of character "invasion"?
lol
