Trip Report Shanghai (K)nights (and days) - A Max Trip Report - COMPLETE

Hello to All
Welcome to my Trip Report to Japan and China!!

As per previous trips to the Orient this is a business trip with a few leisure detours along the way

The trip was from Nov 16 - Dec 9

It will include a visit of Shanghai Disneyland, and two weekend adventures to Hiroshima and Osaka.

I hope you enjoy the ride as much as I did.

I am really struggling with my pictures for this TR. (this is one of many reasons why it has taken my so long to start it)
All pictures are from my iPhone 7 and my work phone (also a 7)
Every since I updated my iOS I cannot extract pictures from it.
I am trying to email them to myself and they are too big to download.
If anyone has advice please send it.

That room looks amazing! Did you take the slippers home with you?

I tried them in and they were too small for my extra wide Donald feet
So no I did not abscond with them

This, along with everything else, is darling! Such a cute room!

I have never taken so many pictures of lights in my life than I have since realizing your “fixation” with them

All Star Movies has a Toy Story section but this entire hotel based on the TS series of movies is awesome

The castle is very different from the other 5 parks. I really like it and the number of upcoming pics will attest to that.

Be a soft comfy or a glass slipper the result is the same - it did not fit!!

Not a big beer drinker so I did not even notice that point!!

It was great that I was able to stay this close and still be on business.
I tried to stay close in Tokyo but the hotel cost was too high

Love all the room details!

Day 1 cont’d - Venture out time!

I checked my notes (I do not take many -usually let the pictures tell the story)
I arrived at the hotel at 5:40pm (plane landed 30 min early but customs ate up the bonus time!)
After check in and picture taking and a quick shower I was out the door at 6:45.

It was a eating, shopping and exploring evening (did not want to pay for park admission for only a few hours - did not know when I was going to make it to the resort)

Unfortunately I was really hungry and it was raining so lobby and hotel grounds pictures will come later.

Took a shuttle bus to the resort ( 5 min ride) and went into Disney Town (DTD, DS, etc).

First stop was World of Disney (again no outside pics because it was pouring rain)

Saw this one and got excited for tomorrow...

Then it was time to eat something
I went lame and picked this

Was not feeling adventurous at this point (travelling solo I normally try to play it a little safe)
One of my very few meal pictures (avacaodo chicken sandwich)
No dessert (I know - how did I go to Cheesecake Factory and not eat dessert - I guess I was not up for it)

Found a nice art gallery store
Took a few pics and then saw the sign that said no pictures - oops!

Then I headed back to the bus stop and found these...

The statue makes me want a Mike Wazowski (sp?) tsum tsum (we have a collection of at least 100 between plush and figures but no mike and I’ve never seen him as a tsum tsum before)
