Save Muppet*Vision 3D

I hope this doesn't go either--I also doubt they will, given the fact that the new Muppets show airs so soon and is gaining tons of traction. Updating would make sense, but not doing away with it all.

Not to mention the Muppet Moments shorts airing on Disney Junior, which are quite fun. Reminds me of some of the old Sesame Street bits (which I think is entirely intentional).

It needs an update/redo, but I'd hate to see it go too. In typical Disney fashion, they waited too long to make it great again and will probably just end up scrapping it.

For Disney these days, it's all or nothing. The same thing will probably happen to Ellen's Energy Adventure, Imagination, and even Carousel of Progress. If they aren't putting money into it to keep it fresh and maintained, you can basically kiss it goodbye. It's just a matter of time.

why do they do this? it really bugs me they just let things go and milk them to death then have to take these long refurbs, rebuilds or total replacement.. If they replace COP that may be the end of me and Disney. That to me is a Disney tribute ride that has to stay.

Well, I dunno...look at the format of the new show...should an attraction that features puppets who talk about drugs and sex and who drink alcohol really have a place in a family amusement park? Hmmm.... ;)
Oh but the massive expansion based around the franchise full of dismemberment, alien sex slavery, child murder, genocide, drugs and beings that hue close to being racist stereotypes is much more appropro then the Muppets?

I actually started drifting off midway through...but in fairness we did go late on in the day. I thought it was dated and very much a seen once and done kind of thing but I understand how nostalgia can play a part in these things. Joe Public won't be rushing back to see it though, I'd imagine. 3D tech is kind of old news for these standard shows since the 3D cinema boom...I still think It's tough to be a bug works due to its concept/story/theme.

Like the attraction based on a rock band who take drugs and drink alcohol which is located in the same theme park?

Or the many guests who drink alcohol inside said theme park ;-)
