Save Alien Encouter!

This is one of MK's most recent attractions and, as far as I know, pretty popular. Recent members who've been to WDW never mentioned it closing. So uh....

What are you talking about?

Lilo & Stitch

I had heard that they were putting something in concerning Lilo and Stitch................honestly, Alien Encounter was okay, it wasn't GREAT and by adding Lilo and Stitch, it's better for the kids. I myself don't have kids (big kids) not little ones, but in a park like Magic Kingdom, they should do something like that. Other parks, no, but Magic Kingdom, yes. If you were a child, that would frighten me beyond belief. This will take some of the fright away!

Yep, but I'd go either way on this, a comical, more kid friendly appraoch could work for me too, I like Stitch, but I still enjoy the current attraction.

Disney needs to make more Mission to Mars rides so people won't mind so much if they are replaced, and even if replaced quickly.

That rumor was getting tossed around the boards last spring- I don't think there is any truth to it, but who knows for sure?

I only did it once but it seems to be a very popular attraction.

I don't know how popular it really is still. I was at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday and there was no wait at all. Buzz Lightyear, on the other had, was a long line. We Fastpassed that attraction.

If they really wanted to make a more 'kid-friendly' version, they could change one of the show rooms and leave the other one as usual.

You're right Spidey ! I enjoy the current Alien show too ( love Skippy) but Stitch could be cool in there depending what they do with him ! Could make some of the scarier parts funny ! I don't mind if they leave as is either though , i like it a lot !:D

It would be kind of sad if this one went by the wayside, though I'm a little bit skeptical of the idea that it is actually going anywhere. MK frankly has enough to entertain the little kids and not enough to entertain the non-Disneyfreak teenage crowd. AE does a decent job of satisfying the need to give the teens something to do. However, I really do wish they would advertise this ride more. It seems to me that it's kind of tucked away so that people could miss it if they weren't looking.

This is one show that they could definitly get rid of. I hated it the first time I rode it and never went on it again. If they did do something lilo and stitch there that would be sooo cool. I really like stitch.

Hey all,

Alien Encounter is an awesome attraction. I am one of those people who doesn't care for real scary, sneaky, terror filled attractions, but I love AE. The story for the attraction is great, same with the effects. That said, I would really like to see what they could do by combining two great stories, Stitch and AE. They could do, I believe, so much with the technology and the character of stitch playing the part of the alien of whom we encounter, I definitely believe the update would well be worth it.

thanks,
Brian
