Animal Kingdom would benefit from a game like Agent P's World Showcase Adventure.Up I guess makes most sense as a scout adventure. Maybe show support with the game for the Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts.Getting kids more involved in their communities.

4. Avatar Land will feature a "flex" restaurant similar to "Be Our Guest" that is quick-service by day, table service by night.

Awesome - we will eat strange bugs and six legged fox like creatures?

8. Major changes coming to DHS sooner rather than later. Details are fuzzy but some old blueprints have risen from the ash heap of WDI.

Ash heap? What plans could they dust off that would really make the difference. Attractions aren't the issue at the park, it suffers from lack of cohesion. It is now DCA lite.

Has a reimagining of Hollywood Studios ever been studied? Unfortunatly anything less is just a band aid.

I definitely think it needs 1 maybe 2 e tickets and 3 family style rides both DHS and AK is in desperate need of more family rides. But yeah they need to figure out the all over the place themeing of DHS also

The ride to show balance is off. There needs to be more rides relative to the number of shows in that park. For these people calling for E-tickets, I'm not sure it's necessary unless they are family friendly E-tickets. The reality is, it needs a lower capacity high demand family attraction to take guests away from Toy Story, and it needs a high demand, high capacity family attraction as well. A compromise to this would be something like the Monster's Inc Coaster and the Ratatouille Dark Ride. Both are lower capacity, but would work as additions in that park.

1. When the Grand Floridan Spa reopens, the spa at Saratoga Springs will be closing for a similar refurb.

This is hearsay, but from what I've been told the contract with Niki Bryan was terminated and Disney is trying to find a new operator for the location. As of late April, a new contract was not signed (this is from a CM at the location).

However, Niki Bryan's website still includes the Grand Floridian Spa, so I'm not sure which is true.

^ John Lasseter was NOT the founder of Pixar. That was Jobs, Catmull, and Alvy Smith.
John Lasseter was there before Jobs was. Jobs bought the CG division from Lucas in 86. This was three years after Lasseter joined the group. Catmull and Smith were hired by Lucas to head the new CG division in 79.

I'd agree. Having been to DHS 3 times with a 2.5 - 3.5 year old, this was the park that it was the hardest to do things together. Star Tours, ToT, and RnR are awesome e-ticket rides, but none work for the <40" set. Heck, even TSMM is just a dark ride becasue she couldn't operate the shooters.

At 2.5, she liked all the shows, but at 3.5 she was going through a "fear period" and found the Great Movie Ride and Indiana Jones to be too PG-rated rather than G. That still left us with Back Lot, LMA, Disney Jr., Muppets, and Little Mermaid + meet and greets but a couple more rides would have been welcomed.

I totally agree with the need for more family attractions at the studios. However, I feel that if too many rides are built in the back of park (Pixar Place and Backlot Tour Area), the park will feel too uneven. The potential over building of said areas could result in very large crowds while other areas like echo lake will be a ghost town. While I really would like a completed Muppet Studios, which would partially address this problem, Echo Lake/Streets of America section will still feel lacking because it is under built. While I'm fairly certain the Imagineers and Ops understand the implications of this problem, the current band aid approach of management in regard to expansion will continue to exacerbate the lack of attractions in certain areas of the parks.

Has anyone listened to the unofficial guide podcast that's a few months old where Len testa (author) walks through the parks with Jim Hill. Has some interesting perspective on many of these rumors and one big one was my hope the muppets would expand but apparently Disney felt muppets grossed 2/3rds of what they hoped it would make so put a hold on muppet expansion at DHS until saw what DVD sales would be !

With a sequel coming out in a year or two I think it would be smart to expand the muppet presence in DHS

Sounds Dangerous/American Idol are such prime real estate for a new ride. That would certainly help spread out the crowds.
