Seems like they just built LMA, but Im all for something else there. I cant see TDO doing it anytime soon but stranger things have happened, and if Disneyland can rip out their entire and fairly new nemo subs already-rumor is-,,,, then anything is possible at LMA site too.

I would imagine that LMA is very expensive to maintain (pyrotechnics, wheels, gas, ect)
I agree that cost could be an issue with all the stuff you mentioned combined. I could see pyrotechnics being the most expensive thing on the list.

It would make sense from an expense standpoint since I recalled American Idol Experience cost so much money that that Fantasmic was cut down amount of days it was shown a week. I knew Fantasmic isn't being cut back amount of days now and it means cost has to be cut somewhere if Idol still very expensive to maintain. That is where LMA being gone would fit. American Idol Experience also was pointed at by message board members why Pixar Countdown to fun was cheaper than Block Party Bash was.

If LMA is gone due to budget, American Idol Experience could be looked at why in terms of cost. American Idol rating are declining, but they are strong for the show to last for another 2 to 3 years at least unless the change of the judges make the decline faster. I know Jennifer Lopez and Steven Taylor are not going to judges for season 12.

Only watched LMA once when it opened in 2005 and I haven’t gone back since because you know when all explosions happen are going to happen, you know when all the jumps are going to happen after watching it once. So, why go back to a show when you know all the little details and secrets?

I would be happy to see the end of LMA.

Do you mean that AIE cost a lot to launch, or costs a lot to maintain? Just curious. I can't imagine that AIE would be expensive to maintain.
